Up for sale I have a 1991 Chevy Camaro Z28.

Please READ All of the ad so you know what you're getting:

The only reason I am even selling is because I have my son now and I own a 4 door family car now. It is a pain taking him in an out of his car's seat with the rear bucket seats.

This is the nice body style with the warped spoiler. The car has 160,000 Original miles on it, 153,821+ to be exact transmission as well, I drive it weekends so mileage will go up. Factory Installed 350 TPI nothing swapped. This car does have a Holley 58mm throttle body and a stock TPI Intake. It also has shorty headers, open headers. This is a 4 speed Automatic. It starts first start runs and shifts smooth. I ordered the kit and installed the 1LE Brakes Package. I know it is unbelievable for this year vehicle but nothing leaks, nothing smokes, the car does not overheat or burn oil. The suspension is still strong and handles amazing. The Heat and A/C work perfectly. It still has R12 refrigerant and need to be charged with Freeze 12 refrigerant every season. I had the fuel pump, fuel injectors, every possible sensor on the motor, fuel filter, steering gear box, and much much more replaced and have All the paperwork to prove it in a folder. I kept the oil change every 3000 miles and air filters. I used Royal Purple every time. There is no Rust under the body or anywhere that I have noticed.

Everything works!
Powered windows, Power locks, Power trunk and yes Powered mirrors. Driver "and Passenger" 6-way Powered seats. (I retrofit a camaro's seat track to fit the passenger side as well.) Probably the only one in existence. Cruise control works 100%. The Wiper delay works 100%.

The interior is in good shape 8 out of 10 with the exception of a tiny rip in the back seat. You can see it in the photos of the vehicle I have in the link below. Other then that its pretty clean. I also ordered and installed a non-perforated foamed back cloth material installed on an ABS board headliner cause the old one was drooping.

EASY RESTORATION!

Upgrades and extra parts that come with the car:

1.The only upgrades are the Ram Air II Hood (W/Hood Pins) Light weight hood.
2. Ram Air II Air BOX.
3. No Smog, Or air pump for lighter weight.
4. 1LE Brakes Package. (Front brakes are now 5lbs lighter all aluminum dual piston, and 11" Cross drilled and slotted rotors)
5. 58MM Holley Throttle body.
6. Stealth Ram intake with fuel rails and 24ld fuel injectors etc. (Not installed car comes stock with 22lb injectors) If you install this ram air you must get the ECU Tuned to handle the fuel pressure. I was quoted MAX, $400.00 for the tune from a speed shop.
7. Hedman Shorty Headers (Open header/ loud).
8. Energy suspension Motor mount bushings.
9. Brand NEW: Spohn Performance, Torque arm and trans mount for the 700R4. (NOT installed.)
10.Brand NEW: Spohn Performance, Sway bar kit. (NOT installed)
11. 10" 600 watt Subs with Sony Xplod Amp with custom speaker box installed in the trunk.
12. Head unit with CD and AUX. (Original head unit in the trunk)
13. Interior dash lights (still arrows, not digital) can be changed from Blue to Green.
14. 5% window tint all around.
15. 1 Box of Zmax
16. After market black headlights
17. Beep Blue HID kit.
18. replaced stock Fog lights with a custom fog light set up with HID kit. (matches the same color as Headlight HID)

20. Rear window louvers (one piece).
21. Tires are Brand new ($500.00 set for the off set stock rims).
22. Powered mirrors.
23. Drive and Passenger Powered seat tracks.
24. New headliner.
25. This camaro has custom Skull Tail lights.

The only bad things about the car is really just the body. I have not encountered anything mechanically yet.

1. Blown Transmission*

2.Clear coat peeling
3. Sections of the body need to be repainted case of blemishes.
4. the front bumpers lip where it wraps around the the passenger side fender the 2 clamps are broken.
5. The Dash Pad is in bad shape, but that's normal for these vehicles. That's how it was when I bought is Just never got around to paying 200.00+ for a new one.
6. The interior where the shifter is, its cracked pretty bad. I will be getting a B&M replacement shortly.
7. the armrest need a new spring in it to clamp when closed properly.
8. Do to the HID kits the High beam indicator stays on bright in the cluster with the low beam lights are engaged, it gets brighter when you turn on the high beams but its a short to ground I can figure it out.
9. The Check engine light comes on after a while on the highway due to the open headers. This is only due to not have the ECU tuned yet.
10. The airbag light stay on very dim in the cluster ever since I changed to LED bulbs. You can also see this in the photos at the link below. Nothing to worry about that will light brighter if there is a problem.

I HAVE MORE PHOTOS just cant fit them all here. Here is a link to the rest of the photos, Please read all the captions under the photo so you understand what I am showing you. http://www.flickr.com/photos/95234271@N07/

Personal testimonies show real-world effect of plugging in with Chevy Volt

Mon, Jan 13 2014

At this point, there are tens of thousands of individual stories about what it's like to live with a Chevrolet Volt. But it also remains informative to take a look at one of these in depth. For example, one Atlanta-area Volt owner says he's cut his cents-per-mile ownership costs by almost 40 percent compared to his previous car primarily because of his ability to drive almost all the time on electric power. Jeffrey Cohen told Clean Technica that he put about 14,000 miles on his Volt extended-range plug-in hybrid for the year that ended October 2013, and that more than 92 percent of those were on electrons. He estimates his "lifetime" miles per gallon rating at a whopping 384 mpg, a figure pushed upward by the fact that he installed a Level 2 charger at home while his employer added an external 110-volt charger at work. Cohen is spending 45 cents a mile for his car, compared to 73 cents in his Infiniti M35. As a result, he's spending 45 cents a mile for his car, compared to 73 cents a mile with his prior vehicle, an Infiniti M35. About two-thirds of those Volt costs are for the $349-a-month lease payments, while 15 percent is insurance, 11 percent is for the charger and seven percent for the gas and electricity that actually powers the car. Helping lower that last figure is an overnight electricity rate that's about 10 percent of Cohen's daytime rate. Chevy parent General Motors hopes such testimonies will re-trigger sales for the Volt in 2014. Last year, GM sold 23,094 Volts, down 1.6 percent from 2012. We expect our readers have similar stories they'd like to share in the Comments. GM might outsource vans to AM General

Thu, Nov 26 2015

General Motors will possibly boost production of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon at the Wentzville Assembly Plant in Missouri by contracting out some commercial van manufacturing to AM General. Demand for the two midsize trucks continues to boom, and GM would like to take advantage of the strong market for them. The possible deal came to light in a letter to workers at the factory, according to Automotive News. "This potential partnership would free up production capacity and allow the organization to capitalize on our ability to build midsize trucks to further satisfy customer demand," a portion of the document allegedly said. AM General would reportedly only take over assembly of the cutaway versions of the Chevy Express and GMC Savana. Customers and critics have quickly embraced the latest Colorado and Canyon since their introduction. The Chevy just won back-to-back Motor Trend Truck of the Year awards. GM also had to add a third shift and extra workers in 2014 just to keep up with demand. The Wentzville plant even increased employment on the weekends earlier in 2015 to assemble an extra 2,000 of the trucks each month. While the two pickups boom, deliveries for the Chevy Express and GMC Savana are down 26.9 percent and 26.6 percent respectively through the first 10 months of the year. GM doesn't break out numbers for the cutaway versions, but they make up about a third of production, according to Automotive News. AM General built the Humvee for the US military and does some contract work with automakers. For example, the company's Indiana factory now produces the Mercedes-Benz R-Class for export to China. Here's hoping this potential deal will help both GM and AM General keep their factories humming. Related Video:

Weekly Recap: GM plans massive new paint shop at Chevy Corvette factory

Sat, May 23 2015

General Motors is laying out some serious green to maintain the Chevy Corvette's expansive color palette. The automaker is breaking ground on a new paint shop this summer that's part of a $439-million investment to upgrade the 34-year-old Bowling Green, KY, factory that builds the Stingray. The massive new structure will total 450,000 square feet, nearly half the size of the current 1-million square-foot facility. Construction is expected to take two years and won't impact Corvette production. The upgrades include new robots that save paint and create a better finish, longer, more efficient ovens to bake in the finish, and LED lighting. There's also a dry scrubbing booth technology with a limestone handling system that eliminates waste. GM has invested $135 million in the factory in last four years for the changeover to build the C7 and to relocate its Performance Build Center to Bowling Green. The improvements continue to modernize the Kentucky factory, which has become a tourist attraction in its own right, as more than 56,000 enthusiasts visited it last year. The upgrades are part of a $5.4-billion investment GM confirmed in April that will remake its US footprint in the next three years. The Bowling Green expansion underscores GM's continued commitment to the Corvette, which sold nearly 38,000 copies around the world last year, an eight-year high. "With this major technology investment, we can continue to exceed the expectations of sports car buyers for years to come," North American manufacturing manager Arvin Jones said in a statement. OTHER NEWS & NOTES Takata recall hits 34 million vehicles The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration expanded the Takata airbag recall to an almost unthinkable 34 million vehicles on Tuesday. The recall is part of an agreement reached by the two sides where Takata admitted some of its airbag inflators have a defect, and the deal compels the company to comply with all future regulatory actions and investigations. Takata's airbag inflators were produced with "a propellant that can degrade over time" and lead to ruptures, NHTSA said. Six deaths have been attributed to the flaw worldwide. Investigations conducted by Takata, automakers, and others have not determined the exact cause of the inflator problem, but NHTSA said moisture appears to alter the propellant's chemical structure. It then ignites too rapidly, creates too much pressure that ruptures the inflator, and blasts shards of metal at passengers.
