I have for sale a 1991 Camaro,  the whole car has been gone through the last 7 years ive had it. heres a list of everything ive done to it.

it has a 350 crate engine with vortec heads, wiend aluminum intake, brand new edelbrock carb, and brand new accell distributer with wires.

rebuilt turbo 350 automatic with shift kit and B&W pro shifter with about 2,000 miles on it

I have removed the 10 bolt and installed a 12 bolt with 3.80 gears out of an older cutlass that had the same width. the rear end has been all gone through, and has got all new bearings.  the rear has been installed with ladder bars with custom cross member that way it doesn't interfere with the back seat. it also has competition engineering rear shocks and jegster adjustable panhard bar. all with maybe 1,000 miles on it.

it will also come with a set of competition engineering front struts and moroso trick springs that I have just not had the time to install.

it also has the s-10 manual steering conversion

ive installed a 6 point roll bar from S@W with the bent door bars to clear the handles of the custom door panel

ive installed bmr subframe connectors under the car

it has all new auto meter sport comp gauges in a custom bezel I made

the whole car has been rewired with a painless kit and switch panel

it has rci racing seats in it right now with g-force belts but will come with the stock front seats in case you want to re install them

it has a 4 inch cowl hood

15x4 rims in the front and 15x8 in the rear with bf Goodrich tires

custom 2.5 duel exhaust with X pipe and dynatec mufflers that dump by rear end

ive driven this car on 4 hour trips to the summer nationals and 3 hour trips to oxford speedway numerous times it is put together well, not all hacked up. im sure there is some stuff I forgot so feel free to ask any questions.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.

Subprime financing on the rise in new car sales, leasing too

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

We all remember the financial crisis that began several years back. At its core was a splurge of subprime lending for housing loans. The housing bubble burst, triggering a collapse of the mortgage-backed securities market. Apparently, those types of loans still exist in the automotive industry, and the market share for these types of "nonprime, subprime, and deep subprime," loans has grown 13.6 percent compared to the third quarter a year ago.
According to an Automotive News report, high-risk lending expanded to 24.8 percent of total loans in Q3, up from 21.9 percent for this time last year. As this level increased, average credit scores of borrowers dropped to 755, down from 763 a year ago. In that time, the average financing amount increased $90 per vehicle, to $25,963.
At 818, Volvo maintains the highest per-owner credit score, while Mitsubishi has the lowest, at 694. The highest rate of borrowers was at Toyota, with 14 percent of the market, followed by Ford with 13.1 percent and Chevrolet at 11.1.
