I have a 1990 Camaro iroc z z28 for sale or trade. Looking to trade for another running vehicle. Need something that runs good or I will sell outright. My Camaro runs and drives. It has a nice dent on passenger side behind door. Passenger door still opens and closes but is kinda hard to open and shut. Both windows work. Horn works. A/c needs charged I think but works. Heat works great. T tops lock and are in good condition with some scratches on the glass. Has original cargo cover and t top bags. The only gauges that work are the temp and gas gauge. Speedo needs hooked up. was not hooked up when new engine was put it. Has a 5.7l v8 which was put in around 50000 miles ago. New 700r4 tranny at the same time with stage 2 shift kit. Engine has been tuned. Car has 133000 miles on body. No rust. Does not have a headliner. Interior plastic in good condition. Good car but looking for something else for my girl. She would really love a convertible mustang but I will consider all trades. Runs and drives fine. Starts right up. 5.7l v8 tuned port injection. Dual exhaust. Sounds nice. Needs plug wires it currently runs just a tad rough from sitting. Send pics of trade offers or dollar amounts with cash offers. Would love to have sold by Saturday. Serious buyers with cash only!!!! No scams and no low ballers. Have clean and clear title in hand. Just seeing what else is out there I have a deal for Saturday so if I don't have a buyer or find anything interested I am trading. Will consider all running vehicles suvs trucks cars 4 doors 2 doors t tops convertible anything cant hurt to ask. Must run good. I was told previous owner hit a pole and put the dent in the car. Its a nice size dent but very fixable. Will trade for crotch rockets as well or motorcycles with cash... Will do partial trades as well. Also looking for foids... Needs radio as well. Does not have a radio in it. I can end listing at any time. Vehicle is listed locally on craigslist as well. I reserve the right to refuse the bidder. Contact me first for no feed back buyers. I reserve the right to end auction at any time for any reason. Vehicle is being sold as is. With minimal work this car is showroom condition and worth 12000+ dollars. Either fix it up and make it look awesome or drive it as is. Works either way. I will consider other Camaros also. ALL TRADES Considered. Thanks for looking and have a great night. 100 Dollar deposit required within 24 hours of auction end. The rest must be paid IN PERSON with CASH within 48 hours or I will cancel and relist vehicle. ONLY DEPOSIT 100 BUCKS NO MORE OR I WILL REFUND YOU AND RELIST. MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION END.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
Next Chevy Silverado could get this built-in tailgate step
Thu, Feb 2 2017General Motors just received patent approval for a tailgate step in a pickup bed. And given the timing, don't be surprised if you see this on the upcoming 2019 Silverado pickup (not the mention its GMC Sierra twin), expected to arrive in late 2018. According to the patent, granted in December of last year, the whole mechanism is housed in the tailgate assemble. The magic happens when a portion of the top half of the tailgate swings down and a step folds out. There's also a handle that locks into position to help climb up into the bed. As trucks get bigger and taller over the years, it gets harder and harder to access the cargo bed. Ford's solution with the 2009 F-150 was a step that slides out from the end of the tailgate. Back then, Chevy made an ill-advised ad highlighting the feature for Ford. And while Howie Long mocked the F-150's "man step" Ford saw almost a third of its trucks with the option in the first year. The GM design seems to improve on Ford's idea as it appears to be wider and has a back to the lower step. That is, you don't have to worry about stepping through the ladder-rung design as on the F-150. Ford's tailgate step later spread to the F Super Duty, and other cargo access assists have proliferated through the truck world. On the most recent redesign, the Chevrolet Silverado took a trick from the Avalanche and added cutouts to the corners of the rear bumper that act as a foothold. Ford also offers a deployable side step, Chevrolet has running boards that scoot rearward with a kick of the boot, and Ram offers fixed wheel-to-wheel side rails. Nissan is in on the game too, with an optional folding step that tucks under the rear bumper. We don't expect Chevrolet to comment on when or if we'll see this feature in the showrooms. But given that engineers are already hard at work on the next Silverado and the timing of this patent lines right up with the new truck's development cycle, we'll be disappointed if this patent stays in the file cabinet. First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild
Tue, 12 Feb 2013This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
