I have an extremely clean 1985 Camaro Z28 I would like to sell. I found a very nice rust free body to do a LS1 T56 conversion on. This car has the original paint and almost perfect original interior in it. The dash has no cracks the seats have no tears and the body has only a few scratches and dings in it. I installed a newly rebuilt 2000 Ls1 Camaro engine with with 350 hp with a little over 100 miles since the rebuild. It runs out perfect and gets 27 MPG so you could drive this car everyday with no problems what so ever. I mated it with a Tremec T56 out of a 2000 Camaro also. I installed a late model Camaro rear with a set of 3.70 positraction gears. It has a tubular subframe installed for strength and extra weight savings. The engine wiring was purchased from PSI and computer is mounted under the dash out of site. It has a late model FI tank with a walboro 255 GPM pump in the tank. This car has most of the parts i could use off of a late model Camaro like radiator, fans, and accessories. This car is a lot of fun to drive and extremely hard to find in this good of shape. Air has been upgraded also. A couple of things that dont work are the heater I just never hooked the hot water hoses up and it would work fine, the sppedo needs a converter from electric signal to manual and the tac works but needs the signal in the computer changed to read correct. I installed a new set of KYB struts on the front bigger sway bars front and rear. The exhaust is corvette manifolds stainless 3 inch to the rear with a flowmaster sounds good and throuty. This is a no T-Top, manual window manual door lock car. Nothing to break or leak. If I didnt have so much going on I would keep this car but I build resto mods for a living and I am to buisy to keep all my neat stuff. I have my 70 camaro LS6 project for sale on another auction. If you have any questions about this car call me and I will answer them. Only serious calls please I am busy so please if your not serious about purchasing it please dont call. My number is 281-615-0551. If someone did not want the worn look this car could be painted easy and it would be perfect then. Also, you could not build this car for what my starting bid is so if you want a car like this dont hesitate to buy it. I am sure I am leaving things out so just text or email with questions.

2021 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon facelift spied
Fri, Sep 20 2019The Chevy Colorado and its GMC Canyon twin have been on sale for a good long time now, and while things move a little more slowly on the truck side when it comes to facelifts and model changeovers, it seems like it’s about time. So itÂ’s no surprise to see some lightly camouflaged trucks running around ahead of what appears to be a minor refresh for the 2021 model year. Starting with the Colorado, it appears to have a bowtie hiding behind some camo in the center of the grille, which otherwise looks like the no-bowtie option you can get on 2019-and-up trucks. It could be that Chevy is keeping the no-bowtie grille design but allowing a bowtie to grace it, or it could be misdirection. Either way, the grille pattern adds a bit of flair to the otherwise staid front end design. There also appears to be a bit more shape to the lower air inlet, with echoes of some of the lower fascias of its bigger Silverado stablemate. The Canyon, on the other hand, shows more extensive front-end changes. At first glance, it looks to emulate some variants of the GMC Sierra, which would make sense given those modelsÂ’ changes for the 2020 model year. In particular, this Canyon has hints of Sierra HD, being more square and monolithic than the regular Sierra 1500s, although itÂ’s a little hard to tell with the camo covering the edges of the grille. It could certainly also adopt more rounded corners like the 1500s. Either way, itÂ’s more vertical and thereÂ’s less differentiation between the upper grille and lower opening. ThereÂ’s nothing in the way of changes around the sides or back, and while there may be some minor changes inside, we arenÂ’t expecting any. The word around town is that this isnÂ’t a full facelift, but rather a minor front end tweak thatÂ’ll just be a regular part of the model-year changeover.Â
Motor Trend wheels the 2015 Corvette Z06
Tue, Nov 25 2014The new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is capable of some absolutely wild metrics. Want proof? Carlos Lago from Motor Trend is here to break it all down. 60 miles per hour? 3.2 seconds. 60 to 0? 91 feet. Lateral acceleration? A staggering 1.16g, a figure that is the highest MT has ever recorded for a vehicle that isn't a race car. It's an utterly astonishing piece of work, this Z06, and just when you think it can't possibly get any more impressive, Randy Pobst hustles an auto-equipped Z06 around Road Atlanta in just 1:30. Aside from the eight-speed auto, Pobst's Z06 had the most aggressive aerodynamic package, the so-called Stage III. Take a look at the 650-horsepower Z06 in Motor Trend's latest video.
Ram 1500 bests new F-150 in MT pickup shootout
Tue, Nov 25 2014Ford's 2015 Ford F-150 is a technological tour-de-force, what with its aluminum-intensive construction and its powerful and efficient new 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine option. But now that it's hit the market, it's time to get down to brass tacks and find out how just the latest F-150 actually stands up to its rivals in the hyper-competitive fullsize segment. Motor Trend is among the first to round up the Ford (in Lariat 2.7-liter 4X4 guise here) and put it up against the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman EcoDiesel 4x4 and 5.3-liter-equipped Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 to find out how Dearborn's new-think truck measures up. The test put the trio through over 1,000 miles of tough driving in California and Arizona in a variety of conditions from just cruising around unladen to hauling a trailer. MT found all three trucks to be competent, but the most praise got heaped on the Ram and the Ford, with the Chevrolet falling a step behind its competitors in many tests. Among the Ford's most-liked features was its 2.7-liter, twin-turbo V6 that helped make the F-150 easily the quickest of the group, with some editors saying the engine felt about the same whether driving around with cargo in the bed or not. There was some minor turbo lag during acceleration while trailering, but that issue affected the Ram, too. The Ram's powertrain was lauded, as well. The EcoDiesel was torquey around town, and the 1500's combination of an eight-speed automatic and air suspension was judged to be the best of the lot. It was the most difficult to get into the bed, though. The Ram also won the fuel economy award by netting 20-miles-per-gallon city and 28-mpg highway in the test to beat its Environmental Protection Agency ratings of 19/27. The Ford's EcoBoost managed 17/22, one mpg off each from the EPA numbers, and using a lot of throttle really depleted its efficiency. As MT notes, however, it would take time for the diesel's mileage savings to pay off at the pump for these two trucks. In the end, the Ram just barely eked out the win, with the title partially earned because of "the Ford's unknown maintenance and aluminum repair costs," according to MT.
