Here is an all-original 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Type LT Coupe in great condition inside and out. It is a pampered car with only 39K original miles. This car is optioned out with the #'s matching 305ci V8 engine, automatic transmission and factory air conditioning. It is a true unrestored, survivor with its original drivetrain, paint and interior. The car was fully sorted with properly date coded original parts by an ex-Bloomington Gold/Survivor collector car show judge. It will be hard to find a more original '77 Camaro anywhere. This is an ultra clean cruiser that has been garaged and very well maintained its entire life and it shows! The exterior of this car is in beautiful condition. It all original paint in condition finished in one of the best colors of Firethorn. The paint is fine for a driver but it does show its age and crazing through out the paint due to the week paint used by GM in the 70?s. The body is totally rust free, solid and is as straight as an arrow. The original rally wheels are mint and are wrapped with new tires. This car really shows very nicely! It has a beautiful, totally original Firethorn cloth interior in it that looks like new. Even the carpet is original. The dash and gauge cluster looks like it just came off the showroom floor. It is in truly amazing condition. Everything works on the car including the radio, all the gauges, lights, horn and factory air conditioning, which blows ice cold. It has its original spare and jack and the trunk is all-original. Mechanically, this little beauty runs and drives beautiful. The engine compartment is all stock and original. This car always starts right up and runs down the road like new. It has the #'s matching 305ci engine runs great and automatic transmission that shifts smooth as butter. The air conditioning blows ice cold. They even saved the original Delco Battery and belt. You will not find a better running and driving Camaro! Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Weekly Recap: Revisting the BBC report that ended Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear run
Sat, Mar 28 2015Jeremy Clarkson's long run as a Top Gear host has come to an end, and the reason is clear: His physical assault on one of the show's producers crossed a line, and the government-owned BBC couldn't tolerate it. The incident between Clarkson and Top Gear producer Oisin Tymon was initially described as a "fracas," and Clarkson was suspended. But his popularity and widespread support – even British Prime Minister David Cameron weighed in – suggested that the controversial Clarkson might be given yet another chance. The BBC put this to rest Wednesday when it sacked Clarkson and revealed the findings of its investigation. The report spelled out how Clarkson struck Tymon on the patio of a North Yorkshire (UK) hotel, leaving him with a bloodied, swollen lip. It was severe enough that the producer sought medical treatment. During and after the attack, Clarkson shouted expletives at Tymon and threatened to fire him. The noise carried into the hotel's dining room and even to a bedroom. Local police investigated the incident, but Tymon isn't pressing charges. The huge audience numbers, Clarkson's popularity and the high-octane excitement of Top Gear all melted away in the eyes of BBC director-general Tony Hall, who saw an attacker and a victim. "For me a line has been crossed," he said in a statement. "There cannot be one rule for one and one rule for another dictated by either rank, or public relations and commercial considerations." In that moment, Clarkson was the bad guy, though he was actually the one who reported it to the network and made repeated attempts to apologize to Tymon. He's also urged the media to leave the producer alone. Hall voiced regret in the statement that announced Clarkson's contract would not be renewed, but the BBC decided to move on. Rumors are swirling about possible replacements for Clarkson. The network says it wants to continue Top Gear in 2016 and is looking to air the rest of this season's episodes. Despite the controversy, the show has a global audience of 350 million viewers and is one of the BBC's most valuable properties. It's unclear what Clarkson's co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, will do, as their contracts were also reportedly up to be renewed.
