Sorry to have to do this.

This is an original 1977 Rally Sport Camaro. Not many of this model around. It is a restore project. I started years ago and just don't have the time to finish. My dream will have to pass to someone else.  It is stripped down and ready for body and paint. Pictures show car before and after being stripped. I think I have "almost" all parts except motor and tranny. I know there's nothing major missing. I can not verify mileage. Speedo shows 57000+. The only part that looks like is was repainted at some time in its past is the hood and right front fender on the top, but I'm not an expert. It's an excellent restore canidate. Good solid body with very little dings. And rust free frame.

  • Very little rust. The only spots of through rust are small and on the lower rear quarters.
  • Vin 1Q87L7635293
  • Good, clear title
  • Floorboards are solid
  • Trunk is solid
  • Doors are solid
  • Door jams are solid
  • Rockers panels are solid
  • Fenders are solid
  • Frame is solid
  • Glass is all there
  • Bumpers are good, but need new rubber trim.
  • Air conditioning
  • Cruise control
  • Vinyl seats that need new covers.
  • Fiber glassed headliner board ready to cover and install.
  • It came with a 305 or 350 motor, and a 350 Turbo Hydromatic automatic transmission.
  • All interior plastics, panels, trim excreta are in good condition.
  • Dash will need cover
  • Counsel and shift on the floor
  • Counsel needs cover
  • Power steering
  • Power brakes
  • LT steering wheel
  • LT package not sure?
  • Have complete original interior without carpet.

Extra items I have that you can purchase for this project!!!

  • I do have a new RS stripe kit $150 for it.
  • I also have a set of GM factory five spoke Z28 rims in good condition for restore. I do have to have an extra $450 for those.
  • And I have a working factory GM AM/FM/Cassette for this car also for $125 extra.
  • I do have a partial rebuilt GM 400 Small Block, one of the good 400 blocks, short block with a mild cam, I would have to have $500 for that.

Choose what you want or I will list the rest on Ebay after the auction of this car.

You will need a truck to haul all the parts and a trailer for the car.

Or find a shipper of your choice. U-Ship is excellent, and I will help in any way I can to get this loaded and work with your shipper.

Thanks for looking!!!!!!!

GM posts $4 billion third-quarter profit thanks to trucks and SUVs

Thu, Nov 5 2020

DETROIT — General Motors is posting huge third quarter numbers, pulling in $4 billion in profit over three months after losing money due to the virus outbreak. GM's adjusted earnings were $2.83 per share, easily outpacing Wall Street's per-share projections of $1.43, according to a survey by FactSet. Revenue of $35.5 billion also edged out most expectations. Shares jumped almost 6% before the opening bell Thursday. The company swung back from a $806 million loss in the second quarter, when it was restarting factories shuttered for safety during the early stages of the pandemic. The Detroit automaker joined most global automakers in reporting better-than-expected earnings from July through September as sales across the globe started to rebound from coronavirus lockdowns, especially in China. GM sales in China jumped 12% in the third quarter, with sales of its Buick and Cadillac brands both rising more than 25%. In the U.S., GMÂ’s most profitable market, sales fell 9.9% in the third quarter compared with a year ago, but were a dramatic improvement over the 34% drop in the second quarter. Sales improved sequentially each month, the automaker said, an encouraging trend. GMÂ’s profit was boosted by higher-priced pickup trucks and large SUVs, which have seen strong sales in the U.S. through the pandemic. It was the best quarter on record for GM's Chevrolet Blazer. Sales of the Cadillac XT6 spiked 45% in the U.S. over last year. Large pickups also sold well. GM also said it was pumping $2 billion into its Spring Hill, Tennessee manufacturing plant to push its transition to produce electric vehicles. Last week, crosstown rivals Fiat Chrysler and Ford reported strong third-quarter net income. FCA said it made $1.4 billion for the period, while Ford earned $2.39 billion. First-edition Detroit muscle raises millions for charity at Barrett-Jackson

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Amidst all the classic metal crossing the auction block each year in Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit automakers have a tradition of donating the first examples of their most enticing new muscle cars, with the proceeds of their sales going towards worthwhile charities. This year, Barrett-Jackson handled three noteworthy examples. The highest price among them was the first Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang with the VIN #001, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. General Motors donated the first new Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible, the first retail example of the droptop supercar garnering $800,000 for the United Way. Along with the Z06, GM also donated the first new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan, which brought in $170,000 for Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Although these were the headline Motown muscle machines furnished by the automakers themselves, they weren't the only vehicles auctioned off for worthy causes. A 1950 GM Futurliner bus donated by collector Ron Pratte led the charge when it brought in $4.65 million for the Armed Forces Foundation. Other lots included a custom Jeep Wrangler donated by SEMA ($85k), a new M5 donated by BMW ($800k), a '79 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst ($140k), '39 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk ($410k), Jeff Gordon's 1999 NASCAR-spec Chevy Monte Carlo ($500k) and a Victory Cross Country 8-Ball motorcycle ($180k). All told, the charity lots raised over $8.7 million for local and national charities. GM dealers unhappy about pickup prices

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

The backlash is beginning. Following General Motors' price hike of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra last week, dealers across the country are expressing their ire over increasing prices in the face of rebates and discounts on trucks from Ford and Ram.
Speaking to Automotive News, Sam Pilato, the general manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL, Silverados are "selling very poorly." W. Carrol Smith, the president of Monument Chevrolet in the heart of truck country, Texas, said, "[GM's] position is that the vehicle stands on its own and it doesn't need a bigger rebate. That's not what the market is telling us."
According to AN, that's the general attitude amongst Chevy and GMC dealers across the country, where the twin pickups are getting butchered in sales by competitors offering up to $9,000 off their sticker prices. Part of the problem for GM is that its trucks are arriving on the market near the end of the current F-150's lifecycle, a fact that Ford has taken advantage of.
