Poca, West Virginia, United States
Selling my 1969 Camaro SS 396 (not a clone!) This car is in great condition for its age, it still has a lot of OEM parts. The odometer shows 53k miles. When I bought the car in 1991 it had 38k miles. In 1997 the car was stripped down to bare metal and re-painted Glacier blue. The original paint was Burnished brown, and still has all the factory sheet metal except for the header panel, grill and lower spoiler. The floor pans, trunk pan and frame rails are in great condition. It has all the factory trim, bumpers, and emblems. Has the original spare tire and rim. Interior is in excellent condition. the headliner, carpet, and dash pad was replaced in 1996. All the gauges, radio and lights are in working order. The engine is a 396 V8, runs very good it has a new water pump, fan belts, new Edelbrock intake, new A\C Delco plugs, new Billit distributor, new wires and coil. Replaced the oil pump in 2011, also installed new rod and main bearings. Transmission is the original Turbo 400 3-speed automatic and shifts great. Was rebuilt in 1994. Installed modulator valve and filter. Last year I serviced the gear differential, it has a 12 bolt Posi with 373 gears. New front brakes, calipers, rotors, hoses, and wheel bearings was replaced in 2009. New upper and lower ball-joints. The tie-rods were replaced in 2008, shocks and U-joints replaced in 1999. So, how do you actually pronounce that automaker's name?
Thu, Jan 21 2016You probably have that friend who always says Porsche wrong, or maybe it's someone who keeps reminding you it's actually two syllables. Whichever side of the pronunciation debate you fall on, you'll find someone to root for in the video above. And before you ask, this was all the video team's idea. So don't get mad at me for being the voice of reason. BMW Chevrolet Hyundai Nissan Rolls-Royce Videos Original Video nissan qashqai
Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition, Custom ready to stand out in pickup line
Thu, Feb 12 2015Chevrolet spent its Chicago Auto Show introducing a pair of fullsize pickups that promise image-conscious buyers a truck experience that goes beyond the standard range, with the murdered-out Midnight Edition and the um, not murdered-out, Custom. Let's start with the Custom, which adds 20-inch alloys, as well as chrome bumpers, mirror caps and door handles to the Silverado LS. Available in both V6 and V8 varieties, and with the customer's choice of two- or four-wheel drive, the Silverado Custom is the decidedly mellower example of Chevy's special edition styling. The Midnight Edition, meanwhile, throws subtlety out the window with a menacing set of visual upgrades. Based on the Z71, the Midnight adds 18-inch wheels, a spray-in bedliner and unique Z71 and Bowtie badges, all in black, of course. The front and rear bumpers, headlamp bezels, tow hooks, mirror caps and door handles, are also finished in the stealthy shade. Check out our live images of both special edition trucks, and let us know what you think down in Comments.
2016 Lamborghini Huracan at the Horse Thief Mile | AutoblogVR
Tue, Sep 13 2016AutoblogVR returns to the Horse Thief Mile in the Mojave Desert to put the Lamborghini Huracan to the test. It's everything we want a modern supercar to be: Powerful, striking in appearance, and a riot to drive. But does it live up to Lamborghini's unique performance heritage? Senior Editor Greg Migliore reviews the Huracan on Horse Thief's unyielding curves and elevation changes to find out. Meanwhile, Autoblog Editor-in-Chief Mike Austin reviews a different kind of performance car – the Chevy SS at the IndyCar circuit on Detroit's Belle Isle. He's ably assisted by ace driver Simon Pagenaud. You must watch his hot lap! The SS is old-school V8 American muscle wrapped in Australian design and engineering. This AutoblogVR segment also launches on the app Sept. 13, and the teaser follows the Huracan preview above. Each week, new episodes will launch on the AutoblogVR App. We'll preview them here on Autoblog, but for the full immersive experience, head over to the app, which you can download for free from the App store and Google Play. Be sure to try it with a cardboard viewer, too!
