Feel free to email: cinthiacaage@ukcool.com . Up for auction is my One of a Kind Show and Go 1968 Twin Turbo RS/SS Camaro. Car is a factory SS but the RS trim
was added and is not original to car. This bad boy is all steel and laser straight with its full factory interior
including back seat. Car is Street Legal and a Blast to Drive! Engine runs between 160 and 180 degrees in summer LA
traffic and actually gets decent gas mileage if you can keep a light foot. Run on Premium Pump Gas at lower psi
street setting or drop some race fuel in it and fly down the track on race setting. This Camaro draws crowds and
thumbs up everywhere it goes. "BadAss" is a very popular comment from admirers. The overall condition of car I
would say is a strong 9 on a 10 scale and would take very little to make it a 10 in my opinion. There are a few
tiny nicks in paint that most people wouldn't even notice and the carpet has a few flaws but is still in great
shape. This is an amazing car that was built right with no corners cut and no expense spared. This Camaro looks,
runs, and sounds amazing! It has very low miles/hours on it since build with only one 1/4 mile trial (shown in last
pic) and a handful of street trips to local shows and events. Over $80,000 has been invested in this car not
including a ton of time but you can steal it for near half that. Following are the car's major highlights:
Custom Paint Dupont Hot Hues-Copper Sunrise
5.3 LS with Custom Cam and Valve Train
160 lb Fuel Injectors
Twin 76mm Precision Turbo's with upgraded Billet Wheels
850+ HP at Rear Wheels at 19 psi, 5900 rpm (dyno sheets included)

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

Surprise! GM putting aluminum in next-gen pickups

Wed, Aug 5 2015

Last month, General Motors launched a series of ads touting the benefits of steel over aluminum – specifically, with regard to the Chevy Silverado versus the Ford F-150. (Kind of. We're not sure what a grizzly bear has to do with anything.) We took issue with the ads, with editor in chief Mike Austin saying they "reek of insecurity, and distract from the Silverado's strengths that could be used for positive advertising." But what bothers us more, is that yet another report surfaced claiming anti-aluminum GM will indeed use the weight-saving material in its next-generation fullsize trucks. On Tuesday, GM announced a $877-million investment for its truck plant in Flint, MI. But Reuters says that huge overhaul is because the trucks will use "substantially different equipment than the tools GM uses today." The report specifically states, "People familiar with the company's plans say GM's next-generation pickups and SUVs will make use of various materials, including aluminum and lightweight steel, to shed weight and gain fuel efficiency to meet tougher federal standards." The Silverado already uses a few aluminum components in the engine and hood, and if more widespread use will help GM build its best fullsize trucks ever, then that's great. Honestly, we have no reason to doubt that aluminum will be used in the next Silverado and GMC Sierra. We just hope GM remembers that nothing is ever truly deleted from the bowels of the Internet when it launches the subsequent "look how great aluminum is!" campaign.
