ALL OF THE FLOORS AND TRUNK ARE ORIGINAL AND ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. THE CAR WAS PAINTED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND STILL LOOKS GREAT, IT IS CAR SHOW QUALITY. THIS CAR ONLY HAD 2 OWNERS. IT WAS PULLED OUT OF STORAGE ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. IT WAS OWNED BY A LADY THAT RECEIVED IT FOR A GRADUATION PRESENT WHEN IT WAS BRAND NEW. SHE QUIT DRIVING THE CAR, BUT THEY STILL STARTED IT UP EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE WHEN IT WAS IN STORAGE. THE SECOND OWNER BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE LADY AND STRIPPED IT DOWN AND PUT A NEW PAINT JOB ON IT, AND FRESHENED UP THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT. THE DRIVE TRAIN HAS NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE CAR AND THE INTERIOR HAS NEVER BEEN APART, IT IS ALL ORIGINAL AND LOOKS GREAT. HE PUT AN AFTER MARKET STEREO UNDER THE DASH WHICH YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES. THE ONLY THING THAT ISNT ORIGINAL ON THE CAR IS THE VALVE COVERS, CARB, AIR CLEANER, HEADERS, AND AFTER MARKET STEERING WHEEL. IT DOES HAVE POWER DISC BRAKES AND POWER STEERING AND 12 BOLT REAR END. THE SPEEDO WORKS, AND GAS GAUGE. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL QUADRAJET CARB AND FACTORY AIR CLEANER THAT GOES WITH THE CAR. THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT YOU CAN TELL IT ONLY HAS 58,000 MILES ON IT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THE CAR AROUND AND IT IS ALOT OF FUN, IT DRAWS ATTENTION WHEREVER IT GOES. IT WOULD BE REALLY HARD TO FIND THIS ORIGINAL OF A CAMARO THAT IS IN THIS GOOD OF CONDITION THAT YOU CAN DRIVE EVERYDAY. IT WOULD BE A GREAT CANIDATE FOR A NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION IF YOU WANTED TO GO THAT FAR. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT PIECE OF AMERICAS MUSCLE CAR HISTORY. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PICTURES THE CAR SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!

GM’s Charlie Wilson was right: Stronger regulations can help U.S. automakers
Fri, Oct 26 2018Charlie Wilson had been the president and CEO of General Motors before being nominated to become secretary of defense by Dwight Eisenhower. During his Senate confirmation hearings, he controversially said, "For years I thought what was good for our country was good for General Motors, and vice versa." And he was right. While car companies aren't necessarily the most progressive when it comes to things that might have the slightest possibility of political blowback, General Motors should be credited for doing something absolutely forthright in this regard with its announcement that it wants the federal U.S. government not to squash the California Air Resources Board's emissions requirements but to actually create a 50-state "National Zero Emissions Vehicle" program that, in the words of Mark Reuss, executive vice president and president, Global Product Group and Cadillac, "will drive the scale and infrastructure investments needed to allow the U.S. to lead the way to a zero emission future." Filing comments to the Safer Affordable Fuel-Efficient Vehicles Rule for Model Years 2021-2026 Passenger Cars and Light Trucks is one thing. But a graphic the company developed for this announcement — shown above — is something else entirely, something that is absolutely credible, creative and clever. There is a photo of a Chevrolet Bolt EV driving along a highway, which seems to be in Marin County (based on the blurred San Francisco skyline in the background). Text on the photo states: "It's Time for American Leadership in Zero Emissions Vehicles." It seems to say, in effect, "If we want to make America great again, then we're going to do it by leading in technology, not by retreating behind weakened regulations." General Motors understands that the auto market is globally competitive, and if U.S.-based companies are going to be in the game, then they'd better be able to out-innovate the companies based elsewhere, where emissions and economy standards are not being weakened. No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
