Here's Another NO RESERVE auction for a 2004 Chevrolet K3500 4x4 Silverado. Available from C&J Auto. Here's the best part. We are going to sell this Truck at the end of the auction for whatever it brings.! This truck runs and drives perfect. It has a clear title, no salvage. It obviously needs some bodywork, but don't let that fool you. This truck functions 100%! Put another white 8' bed on this truck and you're only dealing with a couple of dents on the passenger side doors. This will be a great way to get into a newer, reliable, affordable 1 ton truck for not a ton of cash. Get your bids in early, don't miss out. This 1 Ton 4x4 Chevrolet 3500 is going to sell, NO MATTER WHAT IT BRINGS! IMPORTANT: If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you MUST contact me before placing a bid. Either call first @ (970) 214-0979, or contact us through the upper right "ask seller a question" button on this listing. We welcome and certainly appreciate your business, but we absolutely need to know we are dealing with a legitimate buyer planning on following through on their purchase. By placing a bid on our vehicle, you are entering a legal binding contract to purchase the vehicle. This means if you are the high bidder at auctions end, you agree to purchase it, and you own it. (not inspect & think about it later). I have never been to an auction anywhere where this policy is any different. We have had a few people win top bid and experience buyers' remorse. Oh sorry, I changed my mind, wife won't let me have it, don't have the money, thought it was new, don't like the paint, etc.etc.etc. . ....Well, it doesn't work that way !?!?. Folks, the time to inspect is BEFORE you buy! Understand, We still owe the Auto auctions for these vehicles. It still costs us a week of our time answering questions and $$+ in ebay listing fees, -they do not refund us. We are a small mom and pop business and do not have the time, nor the extra money for those games. Be ABSOLUTELY sure you are able to follow through on your bid. We will take ALL legal actions necessary to protect our interests should it need to come down to that. I know this all sounds terrible, but unfortunately it must be said for the few that have ruined it for the rest of us. Thanks for understanding. Today up for auction we have this 04 Chevrolet 3500 SRW that runs and drives Excellent. This has the heavy duty Allison automatic overdrive transmission. These are easily spotted by the external spin on oil filter. The transmission operates beautifully. The transfer case looks like new, maybe a few thousand miles on it. It shifts perfectly as well. The 8100 Vortec puts out 360 Horsepower and 450 Ft. lbs of torque. What do you need to tow? No lifter noise, rocker clatter, smoking, dripping, knocking, etc.... It runs very strong. No tailpipe smoke of any color, hot or cold. The body is obviously what needs the attention here. Again, I think the thing to do is get a takeoff bed put on, or install a nice flatbed. All that's left is 2 spots to repair at that point. The entire truck is rust free. You guys from the north east don't see trucks like this at home! I think this truck would be perfect to tow with or turn into a plow truck. It would also be perfect for farm and ranch use. The possibilities are endless. The paint looks fair to good. Again, there are all the cosmetic blemishes throughout. I did not find any body filler anywhere on the truck, so it's not hiding anything. I see no evidence of any sheet metal / panel replacements. There are 24 pictures of this truck that should cover most of the questions or cosmetic issues. There are no foul odors of any kind inside. In fact, I would dare to say the interior looks pristine. That's a pretty bold statement, but you won't believe how nice it really is inside! The seats are all in very good to excellent condition. They show maybe some normal expected wear from daily use, but aren't torn up. There is NO check engine, or any other dash warning lights on. All the gauges seem to be working properly. The brakes stop really excellent like they should. The underside is as rust free as it gets. Interior wise, the windows roll up and down, power door locks work, all the door handles work. Radio sounds great! , Horn works, lights all work, heater works, Air conditioning works really good, all the gauges all seem to work correctly. From what I can see underneath and on top, it looks all stock. No modifications. The wheels are factory stock and the tires are in really good condition. Like almost new. The steering doesn't pull or wander, or shimmy. All emissions equipment is in place and un-tampered with as far as I can tell. The glass is good. The windshield has some pitting. Overall, this is one heck of a strong 1-Ton that is going to make the next owner very happy. Don't miss out on this easy fix, with a clean title! Since I am only human, there's a good chance that I've missed some small or even large stuff. If there's something specific important to you that hasn't been addressed, please contact me and I'll try and get you an answer. My name is Chris, my cell # is (970)214-0979. . We have sold Many, Many cars, trucks, and SUV's here on Ebay and have maintained an exceptional feedback rating. Understand we are not trying to hide anything and WANT you to know EXACTLY what it is that you are bidding on. As you can imagine, with any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief listing description. I'm absolutely sure the vehicle will need some kind of minor work or maintenance (just like any other used vehicle out there). Please be realistic on your expectations. We do not perform restorations on these vehicles. We will occasionally repair obvious minor problems. If there is something important to you that has not been covered, PLEASE ASK questions and I will try to get you the answer A.S.A.P. We have maintained an exceptionally good positive feedback rating here on Ebay since 2001. We are not going anywhere, and are in this business for the long haul. PLEASE review the pictures carefully, as they are invaluable to show possible cosmetic things you may want to know about. .........PLEASE feel free to ask questions! This is a used vehicle being offered by a licensed Colorado dealer. All used vehicles are sold As-Is / No warranty. Any applicable tax, title, and registration costs are not included in the sale price. If you are a resident in the State of Colorado, a Dealer Handling fee of $99 will be added to the final sale price to cover the costs of emissions testing, as well as, the additional paperwork required by the State of Colorado for title purposes. A Free 60 day temporary license tag is provided if requested. The final bid is the sale price. There will be no set asides, allowances, or haggling after the auctions end. This vehicle is also offered for sale off our lot, for $6950 so we reserve the right to end the auction early if obviously necessary. I believe you will find our prices hard to beat with ANY comparable / year/ mileage/ condition truck. That doesn't mean this is written in stone and I am not willing to listen to offers. Please contact me at (970) 214-0979 for any questions not already answered on here. For us to end the auction early, it will require an immediate $500 deposit thru Paypal and Full payment thru bank to bank transfer within 24 hours. We can safely store this vehicle for free for up to 3 weeks (or even longer) after full payment has been received. Who are we and how can we be contacted? We are C&J Auto Sales located at 288 N. Garfield Ave., Loveland Co. 80537. My name is Chris and my wife's name is Jen. We are a small family owned business that has been selling to the public for approx. 9+ years. (By small, I mean just my wife and I). We keep our overhead as low as possible. We also purchase most of our reconditioning parts off Ebay to support the community that has supported us so well throughout the years. My wife and I both wholesaled for several years before that, so we are not new to the business. My phone # is (970) 214-0979. I would say the best way to contact me (if you have a specific question about a vehicle) is through Ebay "ask seller a question" , (as I am rarely standing right next to a vehicle that you may be interested in, ready to give an on the spot description). I do check my email often, and will give you an answer back ASAP. Shipping. All shipping costs and arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. We will gladly assist the shipping company of your choice. I cannot recommend any shippers, so please understand YOU will need to find a shipper. Obviously, the vehicle will not leave our possession until full payment has CLEARED. We can deliver the vehicle to a shipping terminal within 50 miles for an additional fee (to cover time and expenses). Vehicles need to be picked up within 3 weeks of auction end unless previous arrangements have been made. You are more than welcome and encouraged to pick up the vehicle in person, straight off the lot. As a licensed Colorado dealer, we are legally CLOSED on Sundays. (State Law). Please make sure you do not show up for delivery on a Sunday. If you prefer to fly in/ drive home, the airport you would be arriving at would be Denver International Airport (D.I.A.) There is a very convenient shuttle going north into Loveland from the airport. Check out www.supershuttle.com/en/DENAirportShuttleFortCollins.html IMPORTANT: I will be happy to pick you up from the shuttle drop off point for free here in Loveland,..... BUT..... Please contact me ahead of time to make SURE our schedules don't conflict. Inspections. I highly encourage inspections on all vehicles offered, either in person, or by a hired professional. This is to satisfy YOU. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and THAT may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or specific tests for ANYTHING. This includes emissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. Again, YOU ARE BUYING A USED VEHICLE AS-IS/ NO WARRANTY. All descriptions given are a general observation based on very limited contact with the vehicles. Our definition of nice may not be the same as someone else's. It's just a matter of opinion. I will say, however, we have been able to maintain an impressive positive feedback rating here on Ebay which doesn't happen by accident or by trying to swindle people. (Especially when dealing with used vehicles that people sometimes expect to be new). I buy, as well as, sell on Ebay and don't like giving or getting surprises. I do not offer any vehicle on here that I have not personally driven. I also believe the listed vehicle would be sound enough for a cross country trip, based on the limited driving I've given it. Unfortunately, I do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict when something might fail. One thing I've learned for sure in this business .... Anything mechanical can break down at any moment. By choosing to drive any used vehicle cross country, you are taking a significant calculated risk. If you are unsure of that option, shipping may be the best. You should expect to do some type of basic scheduled maintenance or repairs to any USED vehicle listed on here, or for that matter, anywhere. The one thing I can promise you FOR SURE is that ANY used vehicle you buy will need something. In conclusion, it is ULTIMATELY the buyer's responsibility to have fully satisfied themselves as to the overall condition of the vehicle. Titles: We are a licensed bonded, and insured Colorado motor vehicle dealer. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have a clear Title. (meaning no lienholders). We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage. We also occasionally need to title these vehicles in our business' name if they are from out of state and do not have room for any further reassignments. This may take up to 30 days, and we have no control over that, as we are at the States mercy . The bottom line is: you will receive a transferrable title to the vehicle either at the time of purchase or usually within 30 days by mail. We have never run into any instance where we could not eventually get a title for our customer. ***Please keep in mind that mileage may increase slightly from local customers inspecting and taking test drives. ***By winning auction/ purchasing this vehicle from C&J Auto Sales, the parties of this transaction agree that all legal proceedings regarding, or in any way related to this transaction, shall only be filed in Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, and no place else. ***Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to Ebay and negative feedback will be posted. ***Preparing, listing, and managing these online auctions costs real time and money. Please have all your financing in place before bidding. ***We are selling the above stated vehicle outright. We are not offering financing or accepting any trades on this vehicle. ***Please do not contact me concerning reserves on vehicles listed. Figure out what the vehicle is worth to you, and bid up to that amount. ***PAYMENT. These auctions are a significant part of our family's livelihood and we rely on it's results to make ends meet. For that reason, the auction is taken VERY seriously. Please make sure you don't have any reasons that would prevent you from following through on the transaction. This includes the required deposit, which is due within 24 hours of auctions end. The complete remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auctions end. We DO NOT accept any credit cards. We do prefer bank to bank electronic transfer because we have never run into any issues that way. It also posts immediately. Cashiers checks are also acceptable. Cash in person is obviously never turned down! ***You MUST be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid USA drivers license to purchase this vehicle. We CANNOT sell a vehicle without a valid drivers license. ***If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you MUST contact me before placing a bid. Please don't take this the wrong way, I realize everyone starts out here on Ebay as a Zero feedback member. I would love to talk to you in person if you have any questions about bidding on/ buying our vehicle. Please feel free to contact me if you are truly interested in purchasing. This ensures that I am dealing with a serious bidder/buyer and keeps the auction fair for everyone involved. Thank you for understanding, bid often, and best of luck!

2015 Chevy Colorado takes Motor Trend Truck of the Year calipers [w/videos]
Wed, Dec 3 2014The final winner of Motor Trend's prestigious Golden Calipers has been named, with the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado taking the title of 2015 Truck of the Year, likely shocking those who thought Ford's all-aluminum, next-generation F-150 would take the crown. But win the Colorado did, beating not only the new Ford, but two other brutish Blue Ovals in the F-450 and Transit. The midsize pickup also bested its brethren from General Motors, beating the heavy-duty Chevy Silverado 3500, GMC Sierra Denali 2500 and the GMC Canyon, the Colorado's fraternal twin. After an unprecedented two-year stint with the Golden Calipers, Ram sat this year's awards out. Most impressive about the Colorado's victory isn't that it simply beat the US market's other trucks, it did so with a unanimous vote. Praise from MT's editors focused on the trucklet's price, spacious interior, fit and finish and performance. Former Autoblog staffer Jonny Lieberman called the Colorado's steering the best he'd "ever experienced on any truck, full stop," in MT's awards article. "After days of testing, hundreds of miles on the road, and our most rigorous truck testing program to date, our editors unanimously selected the Chevy Colorado as our 2015 Truck of the Year," said MT boss Edward Loh. "Colorado is a smart, capable, and refreshingly honest truck that makes a strong value and efficiency statement. It's perfectly sized and suited for the needs of many of today's truck users." The Colorado joins the 2015 Volkswagen Golf and 2015 Honda CR-V among Motor Trend 2015 award winners. Scroll down for video commentary from General Motors CEO Mary Barra, Loh and a clip of the Golden Calipers being handed over. Also, check out GM's full press release on its big win. Chevy Bolt wins 2017 Green Car of the Year
Thu, Nov 17 2016We knew that a plug-in vehicle was going to win the 2017 Green Car of the Year award this year, given that all five finalists have a way to charge up. And when Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, announced the winner – the 2017 Chevy Bolt EV – he said that the car itself represents one of those times in the auto industry when everything is about to change. Similar to the invention of the starter motor, things are about to get different. For now, though, the fact that the Bolt EV won an award sounds like the same old thing all over again. Just this week, it was named Motor Trends Car of the Year and to the Car And Driver Top 10 list. The other four finalists for Green Car of the Year included the Toyota Prius Prime, the Chrysler Pacifica, the Kia Optima (including hybrid and plug-in hybrid models) and the BMW 330e iPerformance. Last year, the winner was the 2016 Chevy Volt. Did Green Car Journal make the right selection this year? See the award ceremony below.
Race Recap: Rolex 24 at Daytona was fast and feisty
Mon, Jan 26 2015Let the record show that victory at the 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona went to the No. 02 Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Target/Ford EcoBoost Riley DP driven by Verizon IndyCar drivers Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan and NASCAR drivers Jamie McMurray and Kyle Larson. The winner did 740 laps to cover 2,634.3 miles in 24 hours and 57.667 seconds. That's a statement to this year's pace in spite of 18 cautions, two more than last year: the Michael Shank Racing Ligier got pole with a time of 1:39.194, slower than last year's pole time of 1:38.270; however, the winning car last year only did 695 laps. The fight for top honors was shaved to a four-car battle over the first third of the event. The No. 02 Ganassi car took the lead on the first lap, swapping it well into the night with the No. 01 Ganassi car, the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP, and the defending champion No. 5 Action Express Corvette DP, all of them staying within about 20 seconds of one another. The Action Express car had a fuel connector come loose and lost three laps getting towed back to the pits to have it reattached, but was back in the lead 18 hours in. The No. 01 Ganassi car dropped out with recurring clutch problems 22 hours in, retiring not long after. A race-within-the-race is where the concluding action happened, a seven minute, 30-second dash from the end of the last caution to the checkered flag. During the penultimate pit stops with an hour to go, Dixon was in second place followed Jordan Taylor in the Wayne Taylor Racing DP into the pits but beat him out, taking the lead. The Action Express car was in third. In the last pit stops of the race, Dixon gained even more time, getting a four-second advantage over Taylor. Then a full-course caution came out twenty minutes before the finish when a Prototype Challenge car hit the wall and caught fire, bunching up the field. That closed the pits, but the Wayne Taylor Racing car had to pit during that yellow because of a miscalculation of driver time. No driver can be behind the wheel for more than four hours in a six-hour period but Jordan Taylor was going to go over, so he came in to swap out for brother Ricky. That cost the team any chance of second place, since they took an additional drive-through penalty for entering closed pits. When the track went green again, Sebastien Bourdais in the Action Express car stayed all over Dixon for the final five laps but couldn't get around him.
