2000 Chevy 3500 Ls model, the truck is a gas motor which is the Vortec 454, and is backed by a automatic transmission. The truck is only showing 54K miles, and has been garage stored. If you take a look at the truck you would think that the truck was brand new off the show room floor. The original owner bought the truck and put full length rubber mats across the floor, so the carpets have probably never seen dirt. Nor has the truck ever been smoked in. Under the hood of the truck, the engine compartment is just as clean as the rest of the truck. The outside has only just a few little rock chips, but you have to look for them to even see them. I cant say enough about how the new and clean the truck looks. Their has never been any issues with the truck. And as far as i know everthing on the truck works just like it should. The truck does have a toolbox that goes with it to the next owner. The truck rides and drives great. I have only ever pulled small trailers or moved my boat around the yard with it, it has pulled great and you dont even know anything is behind you. The first owner installed a Johnson model CB in the truck when he first got it, as well as a transmission gauge, and a trailer brake control. The truck needs nothing to my knowledge and is ready to hit the road and due whatever you need. I doubt that you will ever find a truck like this with few miles and in better shape then this one. The truck is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off if sold. The truck is also sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auction end and the balance within 7 more when the truck is to be picked up or arrangments are made for the truck to be shipped. Conquest and controversy conclude the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona [spoilers]

For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]
Thu, 07 Feb 2013For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
Looking back at the Citation IV concept that likely shaped the GM EV1

We're not sure how that applies to the GM EV1, but we'd still like to share something from Autoline Daily, an online automotive new show with our friend John McElroy. He's been covering the business for decades now and recently found something interesting: pictures of the 1984 Chevrolet Citation IV concept, seen above. Displayed half a decade before the first electric concept that would become the EV1 (inset), McElroy says it's now clear that the elegant, aerodynamic EV1 took a lot of styling cues from the Citation IV, which was developed in part thanks to GM's new-at-the-time Aerodynamics Laboratory. We agree with him that the spats over the rear wheels, the flush glass, and the covered headlights all bear a certain kind of similarity between the two cars. That the colors almost match is a nice coincidence. The Impact (the concept version of the EV1) looked "frumpier," McElroy says, because it wasn't as long as the Citation.
