GOOD DEPENDABLE TRUCK. NO BED INCLUDED! i HAVE OWNED THIS TRUCK FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS AND HAVE DRIVEN IT ALL OVER THE PLACE. THE ORIGINAL BED WAS SCRAPPED BECAUSE IT HAD RUSTED THRU. THE REST OF THE TRUCK IS SOLID WITH A COUPLE OF SMALL RUST SPOTS ON THE BODY(SEE PICS). THE TRUCK HAS BEEN PARKED FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE A BED. THE TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD, 4X4 WORKS GOOD. TWO FRONT TIRES ARE LIKE NEW. BACK TIRES NEED REPLCED. I REPLACE THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES WITHIN THE PAST TWO MONTHS. I ALSO REPLACED THE FRONT END PARTS SUCH AS PITMAN ARM, IDLER ARM, INNER AND OUTER TIE RODS, AND PUT ON NEW FRONT AND REAR BRAKE CALIPERS. THIS TRUCK HAS A COMPRESSOR UNDER THE HOOD AND IS SET UP FOR AIR SPRINGS. I REMOVED THE BELLOWS BECAUSE ONE BLEW OUT.
HERE ARE THE NOTICABLE THINGS THAT IT MAY NEED: MOTOR WHISTLES SOMETIMES (NO CLUE WHY), TRUCK SHAKES WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED (CHANGED BRKES BUT NOT ROTORS. I HAVE NEW ROTORS FOR THE TRUCK), STARTED TRUCK TWO DAYS AGO AND NOTICED SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL BURNING ON RIGHT MANIFOLD(NEVER LEAKED BEFORE BUT HAS BEEN SITTING), OBVIOUSLY NEEDS A BED, NEEDS REAR TIRES, FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT WORK. THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT I KNOW MAY NEED ATTENTION. I DROVE THIS TRUCK EVERY DAY UNTIL I TOOK THE BED OFF.
THANKS FOR TAKING A LOOK AND FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS!
NO SHIPPING AVAILIBLE.

Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming
Sun, Feb 5 2023LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." Netflix productions also will include electric vehicles made by other automakers, the company said. No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. Junkyard Gem: 1980 Chevrolet LUV Mikado
Sat, Oct 9 2021During the 1970s and into the 1980s, each member of the Detroit Big Three imported Japanese small pickups and sold them with Ford (Mazda Proceed), Dodge/Plymouth (Mitsubishi Forte), or Chevrolet (Isuzu Faster) badges here. Ford developed the Ranger and killed the Courier for 1983 (though Americans could still buy the Mazda-badged version all the way through 1993), while The General axed the LUV after the S-10 debuted in the 1982 model year. Isuzu sold the same truck as the P'up through 1987, though, and we might as well follow up our recent P'up Junkyard Gem with its LUV predecessor. LUV stood for Light Utility Vehicle, and I've managed to spot a handful in the boneyards over the years. This one now resides in a yard in northeastern Colorado. The Mikado trim package included striped seat upholstery and a sporty steering wheel, plus these cool dash badges. As far as I can tell, no LUV Mikado advertising featured any Gilbert and Sullivan tunes. This one is fairly rusty for Front Range Colorado, and it has endured a bed swap from some other small truck. The engine is the 75-horse Isuzu 1.8-liter. Members of this engine family went into everything from Chevy Chevettes to Isuzu Troopers in the United States. Very unusually for a small pickup during the Malaise Era, this one has a luxurious automatic transmission. Acceleration must have been a leisurely affair in this truck. Air conditioning? Unheard of! Someone stuck every one of their lunchtime apple stickers on the driver's door. After 41 years of work, this truck is done. Come on strong in a LUV of your own!
