1995 Chevy 3500 Stake Body Manual on 2040-cars
Windsor, New York, United States
Thanks for looking!! The item I am selling is a 1995 Chevy 3500 2wd, 5 speed, 5.7 V-8 Dually Stake Body. There are no pics of the stake sides but they are included with the truck. This is a great truck with a new vinyl floor and front hood. Seat vinyl needs replacing, Body has slight rust as seen in the pics. Overall the truck has had over $15000 in replacement parts the last year. I have the receipts Tranny rebuilt last year. Motor was replaced with a factory crate motor and has about 100k on it currently. Truck has a cd player with AUX and Boston rear speakers I have used this as a tow vehicle and it has not let me down. I have owned 2 diesels (ford and dodge) looking to replace this truck and they have both failed miserably. It Cost me a lot of money thinking I could change. The only reason I am selling this vehicle is Im now too big for it. This truck has a lot of life left on it and as I said is a great tow vehicle. The only issues it has is the emergency brake needs attention( replaced this past year but came apart) just needs to be put back in place. I replaced the vinyl floor and forgot to reconnect the seat belt indicator. Everything else works just fine! tires are in great shape and the truck comes with brake actuator as well. truck sold as is and sale is final. This is a binding agreement so item must be paid for BEFORE you take possession. Payment to be made by Pay pal or wire transfer or money order or cash. No bank checks or personal checks...;. Make sure you want it before buying.

"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]
Thu, 07 Feb 2013For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
