1995 Chevrolet K3500 Silverado Crew Cab Extended Cab Pickup 4-door 6.5l Custom on 2040-cars
Brackney, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for auction is a 1 of a kind 95 Chevy truck. As you see in the pictures, it is a lot of truck. This thing turns heads everywhere you take it. I am selling it only because I need the cash more than the truck. I do drive it some but not every day. I have owned it for about 2 years and have had no issues other than the batteries went bad and I had to install new ones. The good: Its a 1 ton dually. The front half is a 95 crew cab and the back half is a 95 extended cab. There is only 1 splice in the frame under the rear doors (as seen in the pictures). The cab was spliced in the center of the rear doors. There is a 79 Ford 1 ton straight axle in the front. It has a 6.5L Chevy diesel with larger injectors, a larger turbo, and an aftermarket intercooler. It runs well with good power considering the size. There are 4.88 gears in the axles to compensate for the larger tires. The speedometer is within 1 MPH with no compensator so that tells me the gear/tire combo is very near what stock was. It has custom 19.5 rims that bolt to the stock 8 lug axles. I cannot remember the tire size but they measure about 37" tall. The tires have about 70,000 miles on them and are about 70% tread. There are bucket seats in the front with a console out of an Escalade. The steering wheel is also from an Escalade. There is a wood grain dash accent kit. There are 3 aftermarket gauges on the A piller (Boost, Fuel pressure, and Pyrometer). There is a radio with a small TV screen on it, it plays CD's and DVD's. There is a TV screen where the passenger airbag should be and also 2 TV's on the ceiling just behind the driver and front passenger head rests. The truck has a class 5 hitch and a 7way plug. There is no brake controller in the cab. I never installed one because I never hauled more than a boat or small trailer. The running boards are 1 piece custom built Stainless Steel from a commercial kitchen builder. The bed and cap are lined with grey carpet (Bedrug). It has a 6" custom exhaust. I did not build this truck but I bought it from the fella that did build it and he went to great pains to make it right in every way. In my opinion he did a great job and I think anyone that may buy it will think the same. There are pictures with and without the cap. The cap goes with the truck, the bed cover does not. The bad: I try to be honest with my listings so not to surprise the buyer after they own it. I can only list the problems I am aware of, therefore I need to say this truck is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS. It has a 6" long scratch in the front center of the hood, the center KC lite on the front bumper is not wired, The paint is not perfect (there are little scratches here and there but nothing major), this paint job is 9 years old, there is some damage to the fiberglass fender on the left dual (I hit a deer and it cracked just below the yellow marker light, it's not real noticeable but it is cracked). The right rear power door lock will lock with the button but will not unlock. Due to the fact it is a lifted 1 ton with 16 ply tires, it rides like truck. This ain't no Cadillac. I thought about going back to a 16" rim to get some lighter ply tires for better ride but haven't gotten around to it. Other than that, I can't think of any other issues. This truck is ready to go anywhere and I have a clear Pennsylvania title in hand. Payment terms: There is $500.00 deposit thru Paypal due within 48 hours of auction close (if the deposit is not received I will cancel the transaction). The balance of the payment is due on or before the date of pickup via Paypal or CASH in person. No checks will be accepted. Shipping: Pickup or delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer. The truck must be paid for and picked up within 14 days of auction close. I reserve the right to end the auction early because I have the truck for sale locally. Please read my description, payment terms, and shipping terms completely before bidding. If you have ANY questions, please ask them to me before bidding. I hate to have to deal with someone who is unresponsive or doesn't want the truck after they won the auction. Think it thru BEFORE you bid, please. Thank you for looking and email me with any questions. The starting bid is large but remember, this is a 1 of a kind, dependable, head turner. |

All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)
Thu, Sep 30 2021Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.  No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
2016 Chevy Colorado grabs Motor Trend Truck of the Year award
Tue, Nov 17 2015It's not an easy feat to win Motor Trend Truck of the Year twice in a row, but the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado managed to do just that. Thanks to the introduction of the 2.8-liter Duramax four-cylinder diesel, the magazine decided to bring the pickup back to defend the title. In more good news for the Bowtie brand, the 2016 Camaro earned the magazine's Car of the Year award. The Colorado beat a tough group of finalists to earn the nod this year, including its GMC Canyon sibling. The Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra also made this year's list. The Nissan Titan XD and latest Toyota Tacoma rounded out the challengers. A model had to shine in six criteria to earn the title: advancement in design, engineering excellence, safety, efficiency, value, and performance of intended function. Like it did with the Camaro, Motor Trend posted a story online that explained the rationale for picking the Colorado again. They praised the diesel profusely and lauded the whole platform as quite a capable hauler. This year's Motor Trend SUV of the Year honor went to the Volvo XC90. The Swedish 'ute had to win against an initial group of 16 candidates that the magazine eventually whittled down to finalists that consisted of the Honda Pilot, Lincoln MKX, the combined Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and GLE Coupe, and Nissan Murano. "Seven-passenger people movers aren't supposed to drive like this," senior features editor Jonny Lieberman said about the Volvo in the announcement of the champions. The Honda CR-V won last year. In the explanation online, the judges applauded the XC90's new modular platform, and they loved both the T6 twin-charged engine and T8 hybrid version. The SUV's key enamored the writers, too. Camaro-based Trans Am SE Bandit Edition borrows Burt Reynolds
Tue, Mar 29 2016For some reason, modifying modern Chevrolet Camaros into the lurching, reincarnated shells of the Pontiac brand is still a thing. If you're the perverse sort that likes this kind of thing, you should check out the latest product from the Trans Am Depot, which comes complete with an endorsement from the star of Smokey and the Bandit, Burt Reynolds. Yes, the new Trans Am SE Bandit Edition has been signed and endorsed by the man himself, but what's important here is not the signature on the dash, it's the bits of Camaro that have been modified. Aesthetically, that means a Bandit-and-Frog-approved set of T-tops, a front-opening hood with a very large, prominent shaker scoop, an equally large and prominent screaming chicken, and Trans Am-inspired front and rear fascias. And naturally, Burt Reynolds' signature adorns the dash. There are plenty of reminders in the cabin about this car's Hollywood inspiration, too. Bandit decals can be found on the front headrests and center console lid, there are chicken wings on the Camaro-spec plastic door inserts, and the black-and-tan color scheme matches nicely with the exterior look. And power? Well, Sheriff Buford T. Justice would have a lot more trouble keeping up with this Trans Am than he did with the original. The 7.4-liter LSX V8 has been paired with a 2.9-liter supercharger which is good for 840 horsepower. It's fast and loud, and even if you can't get behind the look (we can't), at least this Camaro-in-Trans Am's clothing can impress with its performance. The Bandit Edition is limited to just 77 units with prices starting around $115,000. You can check out the official video from Trans Am Depot, which comes with a decent helping of Burt Reynolds, up top. Related Video:
