Up for sale is my 77 true 4x4 dually pickup and was transformed into to this awesome piece. Professionally stretched at a shop. The guy I got it from cleaned this truck up and updated it with a front clip and doors from a rust free 91 blazer. The cab is the original 1977 cab and is solid and the cab mounts all look good. Doors shut like they are supposed to. The black paint looks pretty good with minor scratches here and there. All glass is good. The rear window needs the tint removed. The interior is in good shape other than the stitching has come loose on the drivers side seat. Motor is a 350 out of a 87 blazer with 10,000 miles on it. Has a fresh flywheel and Luke ceramic clutch. new wires and radiator 4 core. Runs awesome with great oil pressure. The  drive train on this truck is a dana 60 front and dana 80 rear with 410 gears. Has a 4 speed and 205 transfer case all in good shape. The steering is great. Has new front springs positive arch 4'' heavy duty rear springs 3/8 thick. Triple overloads and a 15GVW. The tires are 10 ply and are about 60% but safe. The bed 17' 2 '' x 92 wide with a wood deck. The winch is a Ramsey 9000lb with rebuilt motor and new solenoids. The bed works very well. This truck is titled as a stake truck not a wrecker so cheaper tags. Extra battery on bed for winch. Has one 20 gal fuel tank. No a/c ever. Drove this truck 7 hours about 2 months ago with out any trouble.

The truck does need a couple things that I never got around to fixing. The emergency brake does not work it has never been hooked up since I have had it I always put a wood block behind wheel. Also the speedometer quit working due to the gear reduction fitting going into the transfer case going bad.

This is not a new truck but for a Chevy and a truck that has great parts availability if ever needed its a great truck. And the great thing is its a 4 wheel drive. You can fly in and drive it home. I would trust it to drive anywhere. Payment due in 7 days Thanks and good luck.

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
