2000 Chevrolet 2500 3/4 ton pick up. 136077 miles.3 door, bed liner, cap, power windows&doors, cruise control. 4x4. Good condition. Never smoked in. This was my father's truck, he passed away in July. My mother has decided to sell it, as she has never driven a vehicle this large and it's just been sitting with no one driving it. It hadn't been driven a lot before his death, as he had been ill since 2008 and drove very little. He drove it to work as a residential builder before that. My father bought it used from a Chevrolet dealership in MI approx 7yrs ago, Mom thinks they said it was a lease turn in. It has had the oil changed every 3000 miles since he owned it and was well maintained. There's nothing wrong mechanically that mom & I know of. The gas gauge bounces around when you first fill it up until it gets down to half tank and then seems to work fine and I have no idea what's causing that.There's a couple of places where the clear coat over the paint is peeling (see pictures). There's a dried contact glue stain on one floor mat. I drove it from Michigan last month to Nashville, TN where I live to sell it for my mother and it drove perfectly with no problems. I've never sold anything on ebay before, so if you need more info or pictures please email me and I will answer anything I can. You're welcome to do a carfax on it. Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.

GM Recalling 370,000 Trucks For Fire Risk

DETROIT (AP) - General Motors is recalling 370,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups from the 2014 model year to fix software that could cause the exhaust components to overheat and start a fire. The recall includes 303,000 trucks in the U.S. and 67,000 in Canada and Mexico. All of the trucks involved have 4.3-liter or 5.3-liter engines. GM said eight fires have been reported, but no injuries. One garage was damaged, the company said. All of the incidents occurred in cold weather. The company is asking customers not to leave their trucks idling unattended. GM dealers will reprogram the software for free. The company will inform owners starting Jan. 16. The major recall announcement, which came on Saturday, marred the Silverado's winning of the 2014 North American Truck of the Year Award at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday.
