I'm selling my 1984 Chevy k/20 pickup. well I have a lot of time put in this truck and have pretty much built this truck to what it is today. im going to start from front to back and describe it the best that I possibly can. The front end has all been redone as far as the front wheel bearings and 4x4 the front tires are about 4-5 months old but still pretty much new and the rear are brand new bfg 10 ply mk2's also the motor was replaced from a 355 to a stock 350 it was gone threw along with the transmission before it was put in I just done a tune up last month as far as plugs, oil, and distributor cap goes. the steering is a little loose and the pump wines a little when it is parked and you try to turn it I think it may just need the belt tightened up a little more. it has a new brake booster also and the brakes work great almost throw u threw the windshield. the exhaust is new from the manifolds to the mufflers and from the mufflers back is still in really good shape and should last for a while. the wiper switch don't work right and the horn is hooked up on another switch but works fine all the lights work and the hitch plug on the receiver works also. the fuel gage works backwards cause I hooked it up wrong but it does work and the heater works great but will need a thermostat put in I left it out when the motor was done to make it run cooler I was also going to put electric fans in front of the radiator behind the grill but haven't made it that far yet I do have them though. its a 3/4 ton truck but has a 1 ton leaf pack on the rear and as you can see it does have a nice flatbed on it that has no holes a little surface rust but still in really great shape. the transmission pan is going to need to be resealed it is leaking a little bit but I check it before I drive it so no worry about damage to the transmission. the dash pad is junk the seat is in really great shape. the rockers are rusted out and the drivers side floor pan is starting to go also but other than that the cab is rock solid. I drive this truck often it has a new inspection sticker 2 months old and has a lot of power I do also still have the 355 stroker but I think it jumped time and started knocking that's why I changed it out. I done almost all the work to this truck aside from a couple trips to a shop for like exhaust and a couple thing with the motor like timing and cables just because I didn't have the equipment here to do it myself. I would rather sell it off ebay so I don't half to pay the fee if you are interested please message me and I will send you my phone number. I have double what im asking in this truck and is well worth it. All it needs is a lift kit and a set of tires and it will make one hell of a mud truck. I did price one and for 500 you can get a 4 inch suspension lift from rough country.... I can also deliver within a certain distance or meet you somewhere after the truck is paid for I have no problem doing that. I was building this truck for a mud truck and also a driver to show around town but the only reason im selling it is to buy a mustang its that simple mustangs are my passion and I have owned 5 and want another one. this truck is being sold AS IS.... I will throw in all the extra parts and things I have laying around EXCEPT for the stroker if you want it it is extra but it did run when I pulled it out. for more pictures message me and I can email the ones you want to see.
if you have any questions at all please ask and I will answer the best and as fast as I can and feel free to message me an offer................. Thank you for looking !!!!

CA Chevy dealer allegedly adds $50K 'market value adjustment' to 2015 Z06
Fri, Jan 9 2015It seems to happen with every eagerly anticipated new car – dealerships, recognizing that crushing demand far outstrips the initial limited supply of a new model, inflate the price via a so-called "market value adjustment." We've seen it in the past with a number of new models, and now it's happening again with one of the Detroit 3's hottest vehicles. A dealership in Roseville, CA, outside of Sacramento, has allegedly attached a staggering $49,995 market value adjustment to a 2015 Corvette Z06. We say allegedly because, despite the evidence uncovered by BoostAddict, John L. Sullivan Chevy's online inventory listing doesn't display the price premium of the Z06 in question, a (normally) $93,965 model with the top-end 3LZ trim. It's unclear if either of the dealer's other Z06s, both 3LZs, one of which is in transit, will receive similar price adjustments. Now, legally, Sullivan Chevy isn't doing anything wrong here. Dealerships are under no obligation to observe a manufacturer's suggested retail price, a point General Motors' spokesperson Ryndee Carney pointed out to Autoblog via email. "For the Corvette Z06, Chevrolet has established a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price we feel is right for the market. Actual transaction prices, however, are the province of the dealer," Carney said, adding that a dealer zone manager will be discussing the price hike with the dealership. While we also reached out to the dealership over both the market value adjustment and the price of the Z06 as it appears on the company's website, we've yet to hear back as of this writing. Should they reply to our inquiries, we'll be sure to update you. Until then, we'd like to hear what you think about this case. Is Sullivan Chevy simply pricing the cars as high as it thinks the market can bear, or is this a cash grab for an hotly anticipated product? Have your say in Comments.
GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
