1998 Chevy K1500 Extended Cab Z71 4x4 - Low Miles And Runs Great!! on 2040-cars
Springfield, Ohio, United States
Up for sale is my 98 Chevy 1500 pickup. I bought it nearly five years ago in December 2009 when it had about 98,000 miles and it now has only about 111,900 miles. I usually only drive it back and forth to work a couple miles each day. I have had it on the highway to Dayon and Columbus here or there and it drives awsome. This engine runs excellent and the drive and ride is great. It has a little bit of a lift on it and it really catches peoples attention. I have had alot people ask me about it and give compliments when out and about. This is not a brand new truck and has it's share of cosmetic defects, but most of them aren't really noticeable until you are right up on the truck. This truck also drives awsome in the snow, something I will really miss about it. It does have some rust which is normal for this truck of this age. Overall I would rate the cosmetics as good and the engine as great. I also have a Remote Start / Keyless Entry system that I never installed that I will give to the buyer. Below are some options as well as some of the newer items I have replaced. Updates Newer tires (look awsome) New radiator New thermostat Newer water pump Newer battery Options 4 wheel drive (push button) Power Windows Power Locks Power Steering Cruise Control A/C CD/Cassette Sliding Back Window Bed Liner Tow Hitch Brush Guard The truck is paid for and just looking to sell to pay off some bills. We have 3 vehicles and are going to list 2 of them and see which one sells first or maybe both. I will be listing our 2003 GMC Envoy EXT, so check out that listing if interested in that one too! Feel free to ask questions and I am open to reasonable offers. |

GM already raising prices on 2014 Silverado and Sierra pickups
Mon, 14 Oct 2013General Motors must be pretty pleased with sales of its two newest pickups, the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as it's announced price hikes for both models, as part of a planned price tweak.
Prices will be bumped by as much as $1,500, although weirdly, they'll be offset by as much as $1,500 in cash-back offers through the end of October. Fox Business reports that GM spokesman Jim Cain said of the price hike, "With the sell down of the '13 models nearly complete, this price adjustment was planned and is a normal part of business."
The move, as Fox is quick to point out, is an interesting one, as sales of the twin pickups struggled last month relative to the Ford F-Series, while both of GM's crosstown competitors have been aggressively undercutting Silverado and Sierra prices. The F-150 starts at $24,070 and the Ram 1500 comes in at $23,600, not counting any cash on the hood. A base Silverado, meanwhile, retails at $25,575.
Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
