1994 Chevy 1500 Hot Rod on 2040-cars
Greenville, North Carolina, United States
1994 Chevrolet 1500 regular cab custom hot rod. Just traded in 2 days ago from an older gentleman. These pictures you see are exactly how it was traded. It has not been detailed nor does it need to be. It's the cleanest 1994 truck I've ever seen. Custom pearl white paint with petty blue stripes outlined in black. Paint is 10 out of 10. Interior is 10 out of 10 (new factory materials except door panels) Starts right up, runs great, shifts smooth. I drove the truck home Monday night. Brakes smooth as silk, drives straight, no vibration, not a single spot of any type of fluid or oil in my driveway the next morning. Tires over 75% tread. Clean carfax, shows 73,000 miles are accurate also. Customer had recently spent a lot of money on the 355ci high performance engine professionally installed. Has Turbo 350 transmisson. 411 rear with posi trac. Custom magna flow exhaust/headers. Call for more in depth info under the hood. Garmin gps unit, remote controlled Pioneer sterio unit. If I HAD to find SOMETHING that i could point my finger at would be that the speedo and fuel gauge doesn't work. We have a speedo shop in town that I can send it to to get fixed cheap I just haven't hads the time yet since we've only had it 2 days. We reserve the right to sell this truck locally, at our dealership, (not on the lot yet..you're seeing it first) or on ebay to an interested buyer before the auction ends. Fellas don't think twice or hesitate on this one. It's THAT nice. call with any questions. 252-714-8149 Craig |

GM files to trademark name Badlands
Mon, Feb 23 2015If you've been hoping for General Motors to come out swinging at the Ford F-150 Raptor, we've had some tantalizing news for you of late. Last month we brought you a report that indicated GM has trademarked the name "Z71 Trail Boss," suggesting a potential hardcore off-roader. Now it seems the General has filed for a potentially even better name. That name, as our friends over at GM Authority have discovered, is "Badlands." The application, filed on February 16, indicates that it's for a truck, but of course it doesn't specify just what form it would take... or for that matter, under which division it would fall. So we could, in theory, be looking at the nameplate for a Raptor rival from Chevy or GMC (like the 2011 Sierra All Terrain HD concept pictured here), or for some other trim level, a concept truck, a special edition... just about anything. Heck, it could be for a Vauxhall, Opel or Holden for all we know at this point. Or GM could choose not to use it on anything at all, but here's hoping it'll emerge as something awesome in US showrooms sometime soon. Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon
Sat, Jun 20 2015MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
