Thanks for looking at my auction. I built this truck as advertising for my business. Now its time to build a new one so someone gets a good deal. It is a true SS model came factory with a 305HO. Well that was ok but being as I was building it pro street needed a little more fun under the hood. Pulled the 305 and built a 468ci Big block.
Motor: 1988 454 chevy, bored .060 over, flat top probe pistons, 9.5:1 compression, Comp cam thumper cam .498 lift, comp valve springs, and roller rockers., Hirise single plane intake, edelbrock 750 carb, New MSD 6al box, New pro Billet distributer, New Blaster coil, new aluminum valve covers Tall, New hi flow aluminum water pump, New headman headers, New full dual exhaust with racing cats, and racing mufflers. Dual electric fans. Motor has 1700 miles since build.
Tranny: factory tremic 5 speed from a 454SS, New clutch kit, new flywheel, new slave cylinder Tranny was torn down and inspected and had new syncroes installed.
Rear end: 10bolt shortened, Strainge SS axles installed, all new bearings, New 4:11 gears, new limited slip, all new brakes around. New u joints, new 4 link frame kit, new heim joints, New aluminum 15 gallon fuel cell with sending unit, new electric fuel pump, new aluminum fuel line, new bipass preasure regulator, Ok on this part, the fuel pump is brand new but for some reason it is noisy, I put one on and it was noisy so pulled it sent it back to the company and they sent a new one. This one is still noisy works fine never been an issue but just want to make it clear, don't know if its just the brand or what.
Front end has new 3" drop springs and I have a set of 2" drop spindles that go with it just need to be put on. New front runner tires and pro star wheels, 33-21-15 mickeys on back on pro star wheels, these are not new but have 3/4 tread or better and wheels need to be polished.
Truck has 1700 miles on it since completed. Original odometer reads142076, But this is what truck originally had. Has factory SS cowel hood. Needs the interior finished has bucket seats, but a nice set of racing seats would be good. This truck is street legal in my state but check with yours to make sure it is there. I have not raced this other than playing at the lights. I built it to drive down the street and advertise. I have been down the interstate at 85 and it rides like a dream. Truck is a blast to drive and really turns heads. It could be raced with a little modification, needs 4 link adjusted I have it set for street driving so it really doesnt launch as hard as it could. If I where to race it I'd change to an automatic. 5 speed was what truck was when I got it and since I was building it as street I wanted to just leave it the way it was and play.
This is a no reserve auction and the hi bidder wins. I have about 10k in this it is ready to drive not a roller. drive it home if you like. I'd head for florida without hesitation thats how nice this goes down the interstate.
Please feel free to ask any questions. I will reply to all.

GM’s Charlie Wilson was right: Stronger regulations can help U.S. automakers
Fri, Oct 26 2018Charlie Wilson had been the president and CEO of General Motors before being nominated to become secretary of defense by Dwight Eisenhower. During his Senate confirmation hearings, he controversially said, "For years I thought what was good for our country was good for General Motors, and vice versa." And he was right. While car companies aren't necessarily the most progressive when it comes to things that might have the slightest possibility of political blowback, General Motors should be credited for doing something absolutely forthright in this regard with its announcement that it wants the federal U.S. government not to squash the California Air Resources Board's emissions requirements but to actually create a 50-state "National Zero Emissions Vehicle" program that, in the words of Mark Reuss, executive vice president and president, Global Product Group and Cadillac, "will drive the scale and infrastructure investments needed to allow the U.S. to lead the way to a zero emission future." Filing comments to the Safer Affordable Fuel-Efficient Vehicles Rule for Model Years 2021-2026 Passenger Cars and Light Trucks is one thing. But a graphic the company developed for this announcement — shown above — is something else entirely, something that is absolutely credible, creative and clever. There is a photo of a Chevrolet Bolt EV driving along a highway, which seems to be in Marin County (based on the blurred San Francisco skyline in the background). Text on the photo states: "It's Time for American Leadership in Zero Emissions Vehicles." It seems to say, in effect, "If we want to make America great again, then we're going to do it by leading in technology, not by retreating behind weakened regulations." General Motors understands that the auto market is globally competitive, and if U.S.-based companies are going to be in the game, then they'd better be able to out-innovate the companies based elsewhere, where emissions and economy standards are not being weakened. What's good for our country ... Related Video:
Michael Jordan's cars showcased in 'The Last Dance' documentary
Sun, May 10 2020After the masses begged and pleaded for an early release, ESPN finally unlocked the doors to the biggest production in company history last month. Episodes 1 and 2 of The Last Dance, a 10-part documentary special about Michael Jordan, the Chicago Bulls, and the 1997-1998 season, was released at last on April 19, 2020. Each week since, two new episodes have aired on Sunday nights, and the next two, episodes 7 and 8 are scheduled to drop this weekend on May 10. With unprecedented video access to MJ, who became averse to the media during his playing days, a byproduct from The Last Dance is a look at some of Jordan's cars. The Goat's taste ranges across a number of brands, but they all had one thing in common: performance as a top priority. Below, we have listed the rides that have already appeared in the series, and each week, we will update with new car cameos. Chevrolet Corvette C4 The photo above somewhat epitomizes one of the themes of The Last Dance. Everybody, whether that was men, women, children, franchise owners, reporters, coaches, teammates, or opponents, wanted a piece of Jordan. If that meant stopping in the middle of the road to get an autograph, then so be it. Around town, MJ was fairly easy to spot due to his flashy cars that occasionally wore Bulls red. Jordan has driven numerous Corvettes throughout the years, but the C4 is unique in that it was Chevy's top ride when Jordan signed an endorsement deal with the American company during his rookie year in 1984. Two famous photos, one in front of the Chicago skyline, show him standing next to a C4 with the license plate "Jump 23." This exact car, however, came later, as indicated by the squared-off taillights. He went on to star in a number of Chevrolet commercials with vehicles such as the Blazer and S-10 pickup truck. Chevrolet Corvette C5 The most notable Corvette His Airness ever owned was likely the C4 40th Anniversary ZR-1, but he also drove a C5 coupe at one point. Roughly nine minutes into the first episode, Jordan is seen driving the chrome-wheeled targa top into the parking lot at the Berto Center, the Bulls old practice facility.  Ferrari 550 Maranello Roughly three minutes into episode four, viewers get a glimpse of Jordan's exotic taste in the form of a red Ferrari 550 Maranello.
Porsche 911 tops a list of must-have classics, but No. 2 is more of a surprise
Wed, Aug 9 2023No surprise here: In Europe, the Porsche 911 is the most sought-after classic car. Surprise here: Slip-streaming the 911 in the most sought-after chart compiled by the Car & Classic marketplace is the Ford Mustang. Using the Google search engine as a means to pick the winners, as well as the average prices achieved on the “Car and Classic” website, the venerable 911 was tagged 1.45 million times per month according to data stretching back 15 years. The number of 911Â’s sold though the C&C marketplace was 21,141, at an average price of 58,409 pounds, or $74,300. FordÂ’s pony car, still a popular choice for buyers in Europe, placed second on the list with 1.2 million monthly searches. The average sales price over 15 years was 31,107 pounds ($39,570), and the number of older Mustangs sold reached a total of 8,332. Models that also finished among the charted top 10 include the Land Rover Range Rover, the Corvette, the ultra-classic British favorite Jaguar E-Type and the BMW 3 Series. “Whilst a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS could set you back the best part of GBP500,000 ($636,000), there are many more affordable models, which bring the average sale price of a 911 on Car & Classic to GBP58,000 ($73,800) – the third highest average selling price of any make and model on the site,” explained Dale Vinten of Car & Classic. According to the site, the Jaguar fetched the highest average selling price: a whopping 89,000 pounds, or $113,000. But thatÂ’s peanuts compared to a Series 1 Roadster in excellent condition, said Vinten. For that, “you can expect to spend up to GBP250,000 ($318,000), A Series 2 or 3 will cost less, as they are not as desirable, but in decent condition you can expect to pay around GBP40,000-GBP50,000. Even a barn find 1969 E-Type Series 2 Roadster can set you back to the tune of GBP33,000 ($42,000)." Launched in 2005, Car & Classic is among EuropeÂ’s most popular classic car clearinghouses. It also runs a stand-alone auction site.
