This beautiful Chevy C10 pickup is one that will catch many eyes rather you drive it or show it. This truck is a true 1985 c10 with the original 305 cubic inch motor that has less that 38,000 original miles on the vehicle. Motor runs perfect and sounds great with the dual exhaust and a mild rumble that's just right for driving. This truck is a tan pearl in color that is a show quality paint job and is laser straight and all gaps are as if from the OEM. PERFECT condition with paint and can't express enough the job that was done is top notch. Interior is new as well and tan in color with leather seats - NOT vinyl. All gauges work as well as the heat and air. This truck has been dropped about 2" in front and 4" in rear and is sitting on 18" 5 spoke wheel. Tires are new and size on front is 255/55R18 Nexen Radial XP and rear is 265/60R18 Nexen Radial HP.

This truck is really nice drives great and is very reliable as a daily driver OR just for a weekend cruiser or show. I can's express enough and the pictures do not due the condition justice of this beautiful truck.

This is the first for me to advertise a vehicle on ebay. I will be having a NHRA representative appraising the truck in the next week and can provide that document once done or you can have someone inspect or come and see the vehicle in person. I will assist in any shipping methods but obviously you will have to arrange for the carrier and pay all fees that are necessary with the carrier.

Paypal deposit of $100 is required at time of purchase and would like vehicle moving within 7 to 10 days after purchase. If this has complications with carrier or you picking up personally then please do let me know and I will work with you in every way possible that I can.

If you should have any question please feel free to contact me and I will answer the best I can.

Best Regard, and happy bidding

GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.

Peter Max staring down $1M lawsuit over Corvette collection sale

Wed, Dec 17 2014

Pop artist Peter Max recently sold off his collection of 36 vintage Chevrolet Corvettes – one each from 1953 to 1989 – for an undisclosed amount. The new owners have already announced plans to restore some of them and auction the models off sometime soon. Up until then, the sports cars had been languishing in various garages around New York City for decades and were caked in dust and grime. However, Max's end of the transaction has just become more complicated, because two men are suing the artist claiming he employed them to complete the deal first. The men allege that Max hired them to broker the sale of the 36 Corvettes in exchange for a 10-percent commission, according to the New York Post. They claim to have emails and text messages proving the existence of the deal, and are taking Max to court for $1 million over the squabble. The collection of Corvettes was amassed in 1989 as part of a prize package from the television network VH1, and Max bought the cars from the winner intending on using them for an art project. He never got around to it, though, and parked the sports cars around New York, until he finally sold them over the summer.
