* For sale is my 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 V-8 Auto, Z71 4WD pick-up truck. Truck is loaded with dark gray cloth interior. It has a flip-up console for additional seating, steering wheel controls, power door locks, power windows, CD & cassette player, dual a/c & heat controls, bed liner, and tinted windows. Truck has 96,268 miles on it and has been a very dependable truck that is perfect for the outdoors man like myself.* Truck has a Missouri PRIOR Salvage title due to being a lite rollover. I bought this truck from my father-in-law who has been specializing in GM rebuilt vehicles for over 30 years. They professionally replaced the roof skin and left front door. As you can tell, basically the rest of the truck is still all original; you can see the dents (such as one in the left bed side, above door, and by headlight in pictures) from the roll over. I never had them fixed due to them not bothering me and like I said I am an outdoors man who likes to hunt and fish so it was never an issue for me. Truck has been very dependable for me and I haven't had any issues. Truck has been inspected by the Missouri State Hwy Patrol and given a PRIOR Salvage that can be licensed in all 50 states. For more information or questions you can message me on here or call me at (573) 281-5811 or (573) 276-8160. Please ONLY serious inquiries. Thank you! Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipment of vehicle. Deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction ending and full amount must be paid within 7 days. Truck is sold as is with no warranty. |

2019 Chicago Auto Show photo gallery: All of the grilles
Fri, Feb 8 2019Do you like trucks? How about grilles? Like really big, shiny, chromey, in-your-face, could-be-made-by-Broil-King grilles? Well, the Chicago Auto Show is the place to be. Traditionally known as the truck show of the annual auto show circuit (at least those covered by national media), Chicago has what seems like a small national park's worth of acreage devoted to both consumer and commercial trucks. From humble extended cab Ford Rangers to a mammoth F-650 with cherry picker sprouting from its aft quarters, there's bound to be a truck for everything. And they all have grilles. So above is our gallery devoted to them, because hell, why not? Should you want to know about the trucks attached to those grilles, check out our coverage below. The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
2020 Chevy and GMC HD truck spy shots reveal LED lighting
Mon, Aug 20 2018With Chevy and GMC's 1500 series pickups just starting to roll into dealerships, our attention naturally turns to the Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500 series trucks. We've seen these HD trucks testing already, but thes latest spy photos give us our first good glimpse of the two HD trucks' headlights through some translucent camouflage, and their designs appear very interesting and quite different from each other. The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD looks to be getting a striking set of LED lights that flank the grille. A previously released teaser image of the truck shows that the front lighting elements are split by a bulky wing that branches out from a big, upright chrome face, and both top and bottom units seem to incorporate LED slashes. If you look closely at the images, you can easily make out the Chevrolet script cut into the grille's top edge. Amidst a bevy of Chevy test trucks was one lone GMC model in a dually configuration, and the Sierra HD also appears to have some LED accent lighting up front. Unlike the boomerang-shaped Chevy LEDs, GMC's version sports a shoulder-like right angle of light bars. Assuming these are production-level lighting units, it seems the Sierra HD will stick pretty close to the face of GMC's latest light-duty pickup truck. We're still waiting for confirmation on what range of powertrains will be available in GM's next-gen HD trucks, but we're sure there will be both gasoline- and diesel-burning engines on the ordering sheet. We expect to hear official details on the trucks sometime soon.
