 .                                 I have up for bid my 79 Chevy scottsdale , it has the stepside bed , the bed has some surface rust but no rust thru , bed is solid , rocker panels have some filler in them tho along with the edge of the front fenders and back corners of the cab , frame looks to have been undercoated at some point , its a fairly sharp looking old truck but it will need work , it has a new windshield , a edelbrock 4 barrel carb and edelbrock intake , it runs and you can drive it but the motor idles to fast probably out of time or carb needs adjusted ,  it smokes a bit blue when you first start it but clears off quick , I pretty much start it occasionally since ive had it and run it down the road and back ever now and then ,  the transmission doesn't like to shift at first unless you wind it out , i have a 350 turbo trans out of a 79 monte carlo i will let go with the truck , i was told it was a good trans but i cannot confirm that, The ignition will turn on and off but has a push button to start it , the truck is being sold as is no warranty it is a old truck that will need some work done to it to make a daily driver , if you have any concerns or questions about this truck please ask because after a winning amount is accepted is entered it will be your's , serious buyers only , I wish i was able to keep this one but life has other plans , it could fairly easily be made into a nice ride Thanks for looking and good luck.

Malcolm Butler gets the MVP's Chevy Colorado

In the wake of the Super Bowl last week, we reported that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady intended to give the Chevy Colorado awarded to him as the game's most valuable player to Malcolm Butler instead. In our informal poll (to say nothing of the hundred-plus comments that ensued), an overwhelming 86.7 percent of you, our loyal readers, agreed that it was the right thing to do. And now that's precisely what's happened. "After consulting Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady," the automaker said in the press release below, "Chevrolet presented an all-new Colorado pickup to New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler." The rookie, as you may have seen in between the commercials, made the game-saving interception that handed his team the victory, propelling Butler to stardom. "I am ecstatic that Chevrolet has chosen to reward me with a Colorado," said Butler upon taking delivery of his new red pickup. "It is just another unreal event in what has been an incredible week." Do you guys like trucks? If the answer is yes, boy do we have the show for you! The 2018 North American International Auto Show is lousy with 'em. Yeah, we saw the new Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado and Ford Ranger, but that's just scratching the surface. There are big trucks, little trucks, clean trucks, dirty trucks, old trucks, new trucks, red trucks, blue trucks. It's like a Dr. Seuss book.
