For sale is my nicely restored and HiPo modified  1969 Chevrolet CST/10.   Frame off restoration.   Started with nice dry AZ running truck.

  • Original Drive Train completely rebuilt with high performance parts.  About 100 miles on her since restoration.
  • Arctic White paint with metallic Silver roof and ghost pin stripes.  Spray in bedliner over nice rust/dent free steel bed and tailgate.
  • Custom deluxe 'scrolled' upholstery.  New carpet, door panels, dash, seat & headliner.
  • All glass is good, tires are new and rally 6 lug wheels are restored.
  • New front and rear bumpers from LMC.
  • 12 bolt rear end.  These were installed in Big Block and High Performance CST trucks.  This thing is bullet proof ;)

  • Custom 22" wheels and tires in bed are not included in this auction.  I will sell them to winning bidder for $1000.00.
  • Dealer installed A/C works fine...blows cold.  Fan could use a refresh but it works for me even in AZ heat.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]

Mon, 27 May 2013

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
