The v6 and 3 on the tree are now long gone. In its place is a new 454 and a turbo 400 trans.  The engine is a reman. but has been upgraded with a lunati Voodoo cam.  The cam has 495 and 515 lift.  A double roller timing chain, Moroso oil pan, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Holley Street Avenger 770 carburetor and a K and N air flter are also present.  Moroso valve covers, Taylor wires, Accell spark plugs and a new Chrome alternator are on the engine as well.  The truck was upgraded to a 4 core crew cab radiator and mount. The fan is a 3800cfm Black Magic.  All of the fluid lines are braided stainless steel with Earls Fitttings. The turbo 400 was a reman. as well,  it has a TCI cast aluminum pan and a B and M street strip shift kit installed.  The exhaust is hand built from mandrell bent fittings, it is 3 inch with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and turndowns at the rear axle. The driveshaft has new U-joints and the front end has new wheel bearings and seals.

The truck has been lowered 4 inches in the front and 6 inches in the rear.  The rear is a axle flip kit and the front is new spindles and springs. The wheels are Centerline Qualifiers.  A 15x10 in the back with 275/60/15 tires and in the front is a 15x7 with a 225/75/15 tires.  The tailgate has been smoothed and  Chevy Blazer rear bumper installed.  The bed has a spray in bedliner.  There is also a tinted rear slider in the truck.

Im getting rid of this truck because I want to finish my 1969 Nova. Ive spent a lot of money on this truck so I wont give it away, but the reserve will be modest and reasonable.  The winning bidder will have to pick it up and pay with 100 Dollar bills only, no checks and no tire kicking Nickel Dicks. DO NOT WASTE MY TIME.

Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why

Sun, 27 Jan 2013

Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
If you have about five minutes and you can't get enough information about the new 'Vette, then check out the videos posted below.

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally

Wed, Apr 22 2015

Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:
