1985 Silverado 10 Pickup truck.

Half ton long bed, this truck is in immaculate condition.  The truck was owned by an elder man all its life, he always kept it garaged and polished.  He died not long ago, his grandson sold it to me but I need a car that holds more people. This truck was oned by one owner 99% of its life and has always been a CA truck.

The truck has 61,502 original miles!! (will increase as it is my daily driver.)  Has the V8 5.0 305engine, it runs absolutely perfect.  Transmision shifts good, rides down the road very smooth. Tires also have plenty of tread.

Body is in terrific shape, original paint, it still looks great.  Absolutely no rust on the whole truck. Its a rust free California truck The bed on this truck is in great condition, the owner always had it covered with carpet.  The only dent on the truck is right below the camper shell on the drivers side.  I tried to show in pics but it is so small you can hardly tell.   This truck is as straight as an arrow.

The interior is also original, the carpet does have signs of wear but In great condition for being orginal. Everything on this truck is original.  Still has the original radio.  Has power doors power locks, the only thing that doesn’t work is the passenger side window switch. (can be rolled down from drivers side).

This truck is one of the cleanest older trucks ive seen.  Its got low miles, always garaged, rust free.  Always been extremely well cared for. I think this truck is worth near what im asking.  I'm sure you will not be dissapointed with this classic.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.

Question of the Day: What's the most irritating car name?

Wed, Mar 9 2016

You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk. It's just not fair! So, what car name drives you the craziest? Related Video: Auto News Design/Style Chevrolet Honda Mazda Daihatsu Automotive History questions car names
