1968 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Long Bed Pickup on 2040-cars
Ider, Alabama, United States
Will be selling my 1968 Chevrolet C-10 pickup. I purchased this vehicle from its original owner in 2008 when it was 40 years old. The truck is very original with the original engine, transmission, etc., all numbers matching. According to the prior owner the truck was repainted in about 1990 and the engine was rebuilt then. At that time the truck had 90,000 miles on it and it now has something less than 124,000.0 miles on it. When I purchased it there were 117,000.0 miles on the odometer. It is an automatic with a 327 engine. The truck is a long bed. It has no power steering or air-conditioning. What attracted me to it then is that it was a solid, original truck that had not been modified in any way. The gentleman I purchased it from used it on his farm and also pulled a camper with it at one time. The truck is actually a better truck than I thought I was getting when I bought it. It runs and drives well.

Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica
Fri, 03 Aug 2012If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.
Chevy Gives World Series MVP Madison Bumgarner A Recalled Truck
Thu, Oct 30 2014Last night must have seemed like a dream come true for San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner. He helped his team win its third World Series Championship in four years, earned MVP status and was given a brand new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Bumgarner might want to hold off on taking a victory lap in his new truck however. The Colorado is currently under recall. General Motors issued a stop-delivery order earlier this month to fix the truck's air bag connectors, which were wired improperly during the manufacturing process. The faulty wiring can cause the system to deploy incorrectly. Only 138 customers have received their Chevrolet trucks, the rest were caught and repaired either in the plant or on their way to dealerships and show rooms. Recalls Chevrolet world series
