Hi Everyone,

This is my near museum quality nut and bolt 1972 4 X 4 Blazer restoration.  I purchased it in original condition from the 1st owner (who is now 85) who purchased it new when he ran a  Chevrolet dealership and ordered it new.  He is about 84 years old and only wanted to sell it to someone that would put it back to new condition- well i did that and then some.  It had 31,000 original miles and most of them were put on from the gentlemen doing trips to Maine or out west and this blazer spent most of its 40 years indoor in this gentlemen's garage.  In PA they automatically put mileage exempt but i still have the original dash to prove it. I only changed it because i wanted it to look brand new, and i wanted the TACH DASH.  i need you to know that whatever you are looking at on Ebay or elsewhere now, probably won't hold a candle to this truck....the pics do not do it justice!

So...for the 3 year restoration:  I took this vehicle down to the frame and restored it like none i have ever seen.  Nearly every piece of the truck was restored or replaced.  Fast and Loud doesn't have anything on this vehicle. I replaced the fenders, wood wheel, complete doors (inside and out including glass, chrome, tracks etc) hood, floor bed skin, wheel wells all glass, chrome,  bumpers grill exhaust, brakes, tires, rims, etc.  Basically it is new.  It was refinished with only the best PPG Base coat clear coat finish, color sanded and rubbed out to a glass finish.  I have owned many cars and can tell you that I have never seen a paint job nicer.  The paint, panel and restoration cost over 20k with all labor, panels and paint BUT looks like a million.   The crazy thing is, the interior seat covers and rear door panels are original and in near mint condition.  i will let pics do the rest of the talking.  It could use the a/c hose replace, but being a convertible, who cares right?  I might still have the top as it was stored at the body shop out in the back but needed restoration and since i would never even think to take it out of my garage if their was a chance of rain didn't care.  You can purchase a rag top for about 1300 dollars.

I can tell you that it rides and drives as nice as my 2011 Avalanche...for real.  Also it starts instantly, runs strong and stops nice with disk brakes.  Basically, i replaced nearly every nut and bolt. As a note;   I have sold over 100 vehicles on Ebay as a broker for people and dealers in my old life,  but am not a dealer.  I actually am the CEO of a surgical group, please ck at  www dot paoms dot com and my name is Sean Wild.  Also, please feel free to call me at 267-767-4780 to answer any questions that will help you bid with confidence as you will be hard pressed to find another Blazer on the plant as nice as the CRUSH!!!

For the housekeeping issues;  The truck is being offered locally and i reserve the right the end the sale at any time.  Also, 90 percent of my sales end early buy the buy it now button...so if you like it don't loose it.

First 2016 Chevy Volt commercial rocks us to sleep

Fri, Jan 30 2015

The 2016 Chevrolet Volt, with its thorough restyling and increased all-electric range, is an exciting evolution of Chevy's groundbreaking plug-in hybrid, so it's only fitting that the commercial campaign to sell it to the masses also be engaging and vibrant. Well, the first ad has just been officially released and it rocks... us to sleep. Now, we get that General Motors didn't want to repeat past Volt-commercial mistakes. No one wants to see dogs licking feet or dumb (and weirdly horny) aliens again. Nor would it be smart to slam all-electric vehicles, since it now sells the Spark EV and has just revealed its 200-mile Bolt concept. So, what does that leave? How about a mostly computer-generated spot that relies on cliche images and an upbeat synthetic soundtrack to communicate that the Volt is now as boring as other four-door appliances? An intro, featuring a lightly-bearded gentleman peering at his tablet through designer glasses launches us into the action as the Volt makes its way across a city bridge, then a curvaceous country road. Chevrolet doesn't include voiceover to inform you that the new Volt has a 50-mile battery-only range. There's no mention of its gas mileage once its electric charge is depleted – items that just might be of importance to hybrid buyers. The ad also makes no attempt at establishing an emotional connection, either through drama or comedy. There are, however, lots of fast cuts of the new, normalized interior, including a two-second detail shot featuring the windshield wiper switch. We imagine that this is only the first in a series of spots that will tell the Volt story and motivate potential buyers to run down to their local dealer, hopefully the next spots will be more interesting and informative. GM to add 1,200 workers at 2 Michigan factories

Sat, Feb 29 2020

DETROIT — General Motors is adding 1,200 jobs at two Michigan factories to build midsize SUVs and two new luxury sedans. GM said Friday that its Lansing Delta Township plant will get a third shift and 800 more workers to build the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave SUVs, which have three rows of seats. The Lansing Grand River plant will get a second shift and 400 more workers to build two new Cadillac sedans, the CT4 and CT5. Employees laid off at other GM factories will fill the new jobs first, then workers will be added, GM spokesman Dan Flores said. The company has not determined yet how many new people will be needed, he said. Both additional shifts will start working sometime between April and June, the company said. Lansing Delta Township now employs about 2,500 salaried and blue-collar workers, while the Grand River plant has 1,400. GM sold more than 147,000 Traverse SUVs in the U.S. last year, a 0.4% increase from 2018. Enclave sales were up 3% to just over 51,000, according to Autodata Corp. Related Video:

Weekly Recap: Lincoln Continental serves up the style, Cadillac CT6 delivers the substance in New York

Sat, Apr 4 2015

Lincoln and Cadillac grabbed the spotlight this week at the New York Auto Show in a dramatic fashion that evoked the brands' glory days. America's two luxury carmakers went toe-to-toe with their glittering reveals and plans for ambitious expansion. Both were selling their technology, style and the promise of a better future. Cadillac vs. Lincoln. At the Javits Center, 2015 seemed a lot like 1956. Neither company was interested in drawing comparisons with the other, which is fair, and accurate. They're in vastly different places in terms of sales and the pace of their turnarounds, but they hope to reach the same eventual destination at the pinnacle of the luxury-car world. Lincoln used the element of surprise to great effect with the Continental concept. A production version is still at least a year away, and the company was vague on details. Officially, we don't even know if it is front- or rear-wheel drive, though speculation abounds. Who cares? The seats can be adjusted 30 ways! The Continental also showed off a bold chrome grille that will be the new face of Lincoln. The blue bomber also rolled on blinged-out 21-inch polished aluminum wheels, used a 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine and had huge LED head lights with "laser-assisted" high beams. All of this resulted in almost blinding attention. The concept drew rave reviews, stirred controversy with Bentley designers who argued Lincoln ripped them off, and most importantly, pointed a way forward for the newly determined brand that hopes to compete with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Cadillac and Lexus. View 32 Photos Meanwhile, Cadillac showed the CT6, a finished product that will top its range and is loaded with the best and latest technologies General Motors has at its disposal. With production starting late this year, Cadillac had more specifics at the ready. Engines? Cadillac has a couple V6s and a turbo four for sure. It's working on a hybrid, and has considered a V-Series variant. It's based on a new rear-wheel-drive, aluminum-intensive chassis called Omega, features an advanced collision-mitigation system with automatic braking and has a cabin that's laden with "leathers, exotic woods and carbon fiber." It will be assembled at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck factory and goes on sale next year. At this point, Cadillac is more than willing to talk about every except for the price. The devil was not in the details for Cadillac, as evidenced by the CT6. But it wasn't for Lincoln either.
