4wd Stock Condition, Very Clean, Great Driver, No Rust Issues on 2040-cars
Reno, Nevada, United States
September 2nd: re-listing due to fraudulent buyer ending up as the "winning bidder" from the prior auction. 131k original miles. In great stock condition - always adult owned and never lifted or altered. Truck has lived in CA, ID and NV. Blazer runs great. Truck owned by non-smokers. Drive train believed to be all original.
I have owned the truck since Nov 2007 and purchased it with 117k miles. It has been kept in the garage since I have owned it. I drive it around town about once every 10 days but would be comfortable driving it on long trips. You can buy this Blazer and drive it as a daily driver or an extra vehicle. I have recently acquired a new vehicle project and no longer have room for the Blazer.
I have done the following repairs/improvements: flowmaster exhaust, water pump, battery, fuel pump and fuel tank, rear window, heater core, rear axle seals and wheel cylinders, repainted the roof, rear carpet, recovered front and rear seats and dash pad. The following was completed before I purchased the truck: tune-up, new radiator, headliner, door and window seals, new front carpet and new tires. Engine does burn a little oil and the AC needs to be serviced. There are a couple small dents and scratches that you might expect from a 25 year old vehicle that is driven.
Clear title in hand. Will assist with shipping as needed working with your shipping company. The vehicle is also for sale locally and as a result the auction could end early. All information provided is based on information represented to me when I bought the vehicle or receipts/documentation since I have owned the vehicle. The May 2014 accident was a 99 Subaru running into the back of the Blazer. The Subaru hit the trailer hitch on the Blazer and there was no real damage to the Blazer - I replaced the plastic bumper strips. |

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers
Fri, 11 Apr 2014
Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
Next Chevy Silverado could get this built-in tailgate step
Thu, Feb 2 2017General Motors just received patent approval for a tailgate step in a pickup bed. And given the timing, don't be surprised if you see this on the upcoming 2019 Silverado pickup (not the mention its GMC Sierra twin), expected to arrive in late 2018. According to the patent, granted in December of last year, the whole mechanism is housed in the tailgate assemble. The magic happens when a portion of the top half of the tailgate swings down and a step folds out. There's also a handle that locks into position to help climb up into the bed. As trucks get bigger and taller over the years, it gets harder and harder to access the cargo bed. Ford's solution with the 2009 F-150 was a step that slides out from the end of the tailgate. Back then, Chevy made an ill-advised ad highlighting the feature for Ford. And while Howie Long mocked the F-150's "man step" Ford saw almost a third of its trucks with the option in the first year. The GM design seems to improve on Ford's idea as it appears to be wider and has a back to the lower step. That is, you don't have to worry about stepping through the ladder-rung design as on the F-150. Ford's tailgate step later spread to the F Super Duty, and other cargo access assists have proliferated through the truck world. On the most recent redesign, the Chevrolet Silverado took a trick from the Avalanche and added cutouts to the corners of the rear bumper that act as a foothold. Ford also offers a deployable side step, Chevrolet has running boards that scoot rearward with a kick of the boot, and Ram offers fixed wheel-to-wheel side rails. Nissan is in on the game too, with an optional folding step that tucks under the rear bumper. We don't expect Chevrolet to comment on when or if we'll see this feature in the showrooms. But given that engineers are already hard at work on the next Silverado and the timing of this patent lines right up with the new truck's development cycle, we'll be disappointed if this patent stays in the file cabinet. Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
