Up for sale is my 1994 full size chevy blazer sport with Western 7'6" uni mount poly plow. I have owned since 2002 and it is truly a great truck. It was my daily driver for the first six years and kept it as my second vehicle after i got another car.recent parts i have put on it was new calipers and new exhaust. the truck has 20 inch akuza wheels with goodyear 285 50 20s. The tires probably only have about 25% tread left. The truck will include an additional 5th rim. The full size spare in the truck is new. The truck has a pioneer detachable face cd radio with remote. The plow that came with the truck when i purchased it was used to plow my driveway and a couple of my neighbors driveways. No heavy commercial plowing.the truck drives and shifts smoothly. the everything works as it should. There are some overall dings and dents on the vehicle but nothing crazy for a 1994. There is a dent on the driver front fender, driver door and tailgate. There is some rust over the windshield and under the doors and on the tailgate but overall the truck is solid. there is a hole that is rusted out behind the driver door quarter panel but i have been told that it could be repaired by an autobody shop fairly easy. I am not saying the truck is a 10 but i feel that someone could drive this for another 100k no problem. or maybe make a great plow truck. Any questions feel free to contact me Vince 708 878 9079. The truck is located northwest suburb of chicago il. I will not pay for shipping. But will assist with shipping. a 500 deposit is due within 72 hours of auctions end and paid in full with in 7 days. The plow is included with purchase.

Nissan Leaf keeps plug-in vehicle sales crown for 6th straight month
Thu, May 1 2014And Nissan makes it 14 in a row. For the 14th straight month, the all-electric Leaf has had "record sales," according to Nissan's marketing team. What that means is that for that particular month (in this case, April) no matter what year you look at, the car sold more than it ever did before. For April 2014, the 2,088 Leafs sold represents a 7.8-percent increase from 2013. Nissan's director of EV sales and marketing, Toby Perry, said in a statement that the "new market" of Cincinnati made the top 25 list for Leaf sales areas in April, so the car's popularity continues to ebb and flow across the US. Over at Chevy, the Volt sold 1,548 units in April, reaching a year-to-date total of 5,154. The Leaf is outpacing that with 7,272 YTD sales. In 2013, the Volt outsold the Leaf by about 500 vehicles, but Leaf sales are up 33 percent year-over-year while Volt is down 7.1 percent. The Leaf has also outsold the Volt for six straight months. But we're excited for every eco-car sale, and that's why we'll have our monthly detailed write-up of the rest of the plug-ins, hybrids and diesel vehicles available soon. Until then, discuss. Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head
Mon, Dec 29 2014Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
