I have for sale or trade a '94 full-size Chevy Blazer. I originally bought it to lift and use as a daily driver and weekend warrior, but just can't pull the trigger. I think it's too rare and in good shape to do that. That said, it is a 20 year old vehicle and does have a few dents and scratches associated with that. Reason for sale is I ended up buying a SAS'd S-10 to handle the off road duties. This rig is completely stock save for a K&N air filter. It runs and drives great, usually fires up on the 2nd or 3rd try without being plugged in overnight in teens/twenty degree weather. Only things it could really use to be good to go would be shocks. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! I have the vehicle for sale or trade locally. I'm approximately 20 minutes from the Spokane Airport and have no problems picking up out of state buyers who want to fly in.
PLEASE DO NOT BID IF: 1) You don't have the money NOW to pay for it 2) Your spouse/significant other hasn't given you the okay to bid 3) You have less than 10 feedback, contact me first! Good: -112k original miles -Fresh oil/filter change -Fresh fuel filter -Brake fluid flush (brakes confirmed good by les Schwab) -Differentials and transfer case serviced by local Chevy dealer -New PMD and relocation kit with #9 resistor -New AC Delco Oil pressure sensor -New AC Delco Crank case valve -New AC Delco glow plugs -New Delphi glow plug controller -New AC Delco lift pump -Almost new tires on z71 wheels -Locking rear end (G80) -Turbo has zero shaft play -Nice brush guard -Wired for stereo Bad: -Dual remote oil filters on fire-wall in engine bay- convenient, but not necessarily easy to keep clean during a filter change -Sun visors beat up (driver side broken tab) -Driver door armrest broken -Rear hatch can be finicky (sometimes open on the first go, usually takes hitting the switch a few times) -Leather front seats (power works and comfy, but not the original seats) -One major scratch on passenger fender -Passenger power mirror doesn't work -Passenger door switches don't work Ugly: -Roof front and rear had light bars, holes are "patched", but not well. No leaks that I can tell. |

Nissan Leaf sales double Chevy Volt to close out winning 2014
Mon, Jan 5 2015To close out the year, sales of the two most-popular plug-in vehicles in the US kept going in the direction that they had been all year. The Chevy Volt dropped and the Nissan Leaf had another record month. Sound familiar? The Volt sold 1,490 units in December, a year-to-year drop of 37.7 percent. For all of 2014, Volt sales were down 18.6 percent to just 18,805 (from 23,094 in 2013). On the Nissan side of the ledger, the Leaf sold 3,102 units, up 22.7 percent from the 2,529 sold in December 2013. For the year, Nissan sold 30,200 Leafs, up 33.6 percent from the 22,610 sold in 2013. A few other things to note: For every month in 2014, the Leaf sold more than it did for the same month in 2013. For the Volt, this was only true for three months (April, May and July). Funnily enough, the Volt sold exactly 1,478 units in both March 2013 and 2014. The Volt's 2014 total was lower than both 2013 and 2012, while the Leaf had its best year ever. There were three months in 2014 when people bought at least twice as many Leafs than bought a Volt (September, November, December). The Leaf outsold the Volt every month in 2014. The closest gap was 215 units, in February. The biggest was 1,612, in December. As you've most likely seen, GM is still busy teasing the new Volt, which will make its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week. We'll have a more in-depth green car sales post up soon. <iframe embedded="true" "="" scrolling="no" src="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oIuH75vaSHaaplD4x6gLsYjSsiN4oGmez1T63eaYdhY/pubhtml?widget=true&headers=false" height="430"> Nissan celebrates 30,000 leaf sales in 2014, best year ever for sales of any plug-in vehicle NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 5, 2015) – Nissan, the world leader in electric vehicle sales, shattered yet another sales record with 30,200 LEAF vehicles sold in 2014, which is the first time any plug-in has sold more than 30,000 units in a single year. "Now in its fifth model year, Nissan LEAF is more popular than ever and continues to bring new buyers to Nissan," said Brendan Jones, director, Nissan Electric Vehicle Sales and Infrastructure. "From the beginning our vision was to bring electric vehicles to the mass market in a practical and fun-to-drive package, which is what makes Nissan LEAF the best-selling electric car in the world." Last month, Nissan sold 3,102 all-electric LEAFs, up 22.7 percent from the prior year and a December record.
MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon
Sat, Jun 20 2015MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
