1988 Extremely clean K-5 Blazer!
350, 700R4 4 wheel drive
Truck has never seen snow or salt,
Body was purchased and brought from Arizona, it is a 1986 body, I have the title for the body also, new doors, inner fenders, fenders, hood and tailgate, painted in the spring of 2011, I have too many projects going at one time and realized that I can't finish them all!
Truck starts, runs and will move on it's own without any issues, brakes have been bled, I believe it may need a caliper on the left front from sitting.
New upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, front axle u-joints, stainless steel brake lines, 4" suspension lift...all leaf springs, rear brakes, tires, rims, dash pad, dash bezel...ALL GUAGES WORK, door panels, exterior door handles, power window motors, front seats, radiator, core support, electric cooling fans, throttle body, all suspension mounts have been replaced with poly bushings, new body mounts, new shocks, quad shock front, dual steering stabilizer.....
I was told the engine and transmission were freshened up about 2,500 miles ago, I cannot confirm or deny this.
YES it sounds too good to be true but if you see it, you'll realize how nice it is and can be when finished up.
This is a list of what needs to be done to drive it......
Exhaust (it does have dual exhaust now but on the lift kit I had to drop one pipe for the transfer case drop so it needs a pipe from the head pipe to the muffler on the drivers side.
Wire cooling fans that are already in place (painless relays are in the engine compartment now)
mount the drivers seat
recover the rear seat
install real glass (I have it, just not installed)
bolt on front shocks
install front driveshaft
There will be some odds and ends but it's damn nice, I've included pictures of when I brought it home and the state it's in now.
I do have a reserve on it that I feel is fair to some of the junk I've seen on eBay.
I will not tell you my reserve so please be courteous and don't ask.
All sales are final and as-is, a $500.00 PayPal NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end....truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction at any time.
Truck must be paid for upon pick up in CASH ONLY within 7 days of auctions end unless plans are made ahead of time.
Anyone with a feedback of less than 10 must message me before bidding please.
CASH is the only form of payment I'll accept if you win.
TRUCK MUST BE PICKED UP, IT IS NOT DRIVABLE....YET!

Detroit Three's lucrative pickup war intensifies as Ram makes big gains
Thu, Jan 3 2019DETROIT — The battle for profits from sales of large pickup trucks is intensifying among the Detroit Three automakers as sales of small cars in the United States shrivel. For decades Ford has had the single best-selling truck brand in its F-Series trucks. General Motors' Chevrolet brand was a solid No. 2, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Ram was a distant third. Now, that hierarchy may be in flux. Sales figures for December and the fourth quarter released on Thursday show Ram tied with GM's Chevy for the No. 2 spot, as sales of the redesigned Ram pickup surged, fueled in part by demand for an optional 12-inch (30.48 cm) dashboard screen. Chevy not long ago held second place to Ford by a wide margin. GM executives said on Thursday they are bullish on their new GMC and Chevy trucks for 2019.Related: How the Detroit Three's pickups compare on paper 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie review 2019 Chevy Silverado 2.7L four-cylinder review 2019 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost review "There's no doubt this segment (pickup trucks) is one of the epicenters of the auto wars," said Sandor Piszar, director of marketing for Chevrolet at GM. "It's been that way forever, and we wouldn't have it any other way." On Wall Street, investors give electric car leader Tesla a higher valuation than any of the Detroit automakers. But in the nation's heartland, big pickups remain far more popular and profitable than any electric car — and most other consumer vehicles of any kind. Large pickups generate at least $17,000 a vehicle in pretax profit for GM, the company has indicated in disclosures to investors. By contrast, many Detroit Three sedans are so unprofitable, their manufacturers have decided not to build them anymore. 'Hotly contested' Sustaining sales and pricing in the large-pickup segment will be critical in a year when most forecasters expect overall U.S. car and light truck sales to fall. Ford's U.S. sales chief, Mark LaNeve, on Thursday called the F Series "the backbone of our franchise" during a conference call, and added the "segment will continue to be strong, but hotly contested" in 2019. Automakers are banking on pickup truck sales to stay strong even if U.S. interest rates continue to rise. Rising interest rates translate into higher monthly car payments and are expected to deter some buyers in 2019. GM has said 27 percent of Chevrolet and GMC trucks — which can haul trailers by day and substitute for a luxury sedan by night — sell for more than $55,000.
2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
