This beautiful 1974 Blazer is not for the faint of heart. It sounds mean, it looks mean, it is mean. The 454 is .030 over, includes an Eagle rotating assembly, Edelbrock heads, cam, and intake. Brand new Demon carburetor and headers. Has a great sounding dual exhaust with turbo mufflers. It shakes the ground at an idle. Driveline is a TH400, Dana 60 front, and Corporate 14 bolt rear. Everything has been gone through. These parts werent just swapped from one truck to another. The engine has very few miles, but it does get run.

This Blazer is a definite head turner. Dont bid unless you want to be noticed. The bright orange paint makes you noticed from a distance. This is a full convertible top model, the whole roof comes off, not just the back half. The interior has beautiful new upholstery, done by a local shop. The rear side panels were custom made to match the seats. Everything is done with quality fabric, and is extremely comfortable. The interior holds true to the Cheyenne package, and is not overdone. It does sport the factory rollbar. The air has been converted to R134, and blows ice cold.

New ProComp wheels, brand new Dick Cepek Mud Country 35X12.50 Tires. The underside of the Blazer isas clean as the top side. Dont get me wrong, this fella gets driven on nice days. Its not a trailer queen, or a garage ornament, it was built to drive, and it gets driven. It easily makes a 600 mile round trip to a car show, and it does it with a smile on its face. You dont have to be afraid to drive this one.

As always, I encourage you to ask questions, (unless they are really dumb, then I dont answer!) or call Joe at 814-389-2349. We have 100% feedback for a reason, because we are honest about what we sell. Look at the pics, see what you think and let us know. Have a great day!!!

P.S. I made the mileage up. Does it matter?

GM to trim Russian output, raise prices amid currency woes

Thu, Feb 5 2015

General Motors is shutting down its factory in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, from the middle of March until the middle of May as the country's currency, the ruble, continues to give economists fits. The ruble's value has plunged due not only to western sanctions, but a precipitous fall in oil prices. We knew these factors were already impacting the auto industry there, as Ford reported in its 2014 earnings statement, and now they're forcing GM to cut production at the factory, shown above, that is responsible for production of the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra. Meanwhile, Automotive News is citing Russian outlet Kommersant as saying that GM has hiked its prices in the country by an average of 20 percent over the past two months. While a GM spokesman confirmed the St. Petersburg plant would be shut down for the two-month span reported by Kommersant and AN, he would not confirm the price increase. GM uses wind power to build SUVs, trucks

Tue, Oct 9 2018

This week started with a chill, as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a dire report with scientists warning, "The world we know today is not the world we will see in 50 years," with temperatures rising at their current rates. In the meantime, the trend toward purchasing more SUVs and crossovers continues. Most automakers, though, have set goals toward more sustainable production. That includes General Motors, which, somewhat ironically, plans to use wind power to produce many of its vehicles, including pickups and full-size SUVs. As the Detroit Free Press reports, several wind farms are coming online to support cleaner production as part of a partnership between GM and energy producer CMS Enterprises. At the beginning of October, the 100-megawatt Northwest Ohio Wind Farm began producing energy, supplying GM operations in Ohio and Indiana, where manufactured vehicles include the Chevy Cruze, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Hilltopper Wind Farm in Illinois will begin producing another 100 megawatts for GM manufacturing in the region. In Texas, where GM builds the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade, the automaker is getting 50 megawatts from Cactus Flats Wind Farm beginning October 9. Using wind power isn't just about being green, but also for the sake of price stability. As Rob Threlkeld, GM's global manager of renewable energy told the Free Press, "You don't get the price spikes this way, like you do with fuel, and it reduces the environment footprint of the vehicle you're driving." Threlkeld said that renewable energy has already meant "millions of dollars in savings" for GM. GM plans to power all of its global operations with renewable energy by 2050. This week, the automaker was ranked 76 on the EPA's "National Top 100 List" of green manufacturers. It was the only automotive company listed. Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
