Crate 350 Goodwrech long block engine ( have receipt) with 3.3k miles on it with serpentine set up and new radiator. Rebuilt 350 turbo tranny. Edelbrock intake and carb. Long tube headers and flowmasters (sounds awesome!). Brakes done about a year ago. No issues with 4x4. Original transfer case.

New flooring (just spray off and go!)

New upholstry

Custom interior diamond plate side walls

AND BEST YET.....NO RUST ON ANY OF THE PANELS!

Hard Top is in very good condition and painted Black also.

Rewired with Painless Wiring kit.

Nice sound system with 12in sub, amp, deck, 6x9s and 6.5in speakers.

New Polyurathane bushings, 4 inch lift, drives straight!

Seriously this is a very nice Blazer that is definately an attention getter and conversation starter! Oh also there are some new badges and trim ($300 in badges alone!) that I have not put on the Blazer that are not on the picture....and also some other parts im forgetting. Has no AC (but you can add one after if you want. Got taken off when engine got put in) but who needs one if you can cruise this beast without a top! has an after market heater. Some of the gauges are not wired up. This is because the previous owner bought after market gauges (to more accurately determine temp, battery level, and oil pressure since the old gauges dont give #'s). The gauges do work though.

Some of these 1st generation Blazers in these conditions are selling for $25k+.....Im selling this one at a great price. Many more pictures will be added...in a day or two or Call or text if interested. If you have a question PLEASE read all of this first so you dont ask somthing i already said on here. I took the time to write so you please take the time to read. 661-809-0053

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

Diesel Power finds the ultimate modified oil-burner

Sat, 24 Aug 2013

For nine years, Diesel Power magazine has run the Diesel Power Challenge, this year's grindfest being "a week-long torture test that features seven events, nine trucks, 8,000 horsepower, and nearly 15,000 pound-feet of torque." The road to being crowned "the most powerful truck" starts with a dyno run, and then continues through the completion of a CDL-style obstacle course, an eighth-of-a-mile drag race while towing a 10,000-pound trailer, a quarter-mile drag race without a trailer, a fuel economy test in the mountains and finally a sled-pulling test through a 300-foot-long packed-mud pit.
What kind of trucks get into such a fight? Last year's winner, for instance - who upgraded his truck this year to prove he didn't "luck into the win" - drives a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a 6.4-liter Power Stroke V8 upgraded with a custom intake, Elite Diesel triple turbos and a two-stage nitrous system. Another competitor has a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins inline-six, upgraded with Garrett turbos, dual-stage nitrous, a seven-inch exhaust stack and twin fans built into the bed to cool the Sun Coast Omega transmission. The numbers on that truck: 1,255 horsepower, and 2,063 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. Naturally, as the image above might suggest, things don't always end well.
You'll find all five videos covering this years challenge below. A scene in the dyno video sums it all up perfectly: a competitor leaves his nitrous on too long and the crew is treated to some ominous poppings, he leans out the window, throws both hands up and shouts, "Amer'ca!"
