1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 4wd, auto transmission, 350 cid engine. Positraction, all original drivetrain. Power steering and power disc brakes. AM/FM CD player. All gauges work. No AC or heater. All weather marine vinyl interior. Locking metal center console. Locking storage box behind rear seat containing hydraulic jack, tire tools and custom bikini top. Rear hitch receiver and front custom towbar and wiring to tow this rig anywhere. Corvette style derby cap rally wheels with matching spare on a custom mount. New tires, fuel tank, master cylinder, door panels, and shocks. Engine received a complete rebuild and trans, hubs, diffs, steering gear, and transfer case have been serviced. Base coat clear coat is about 9 years old. A few chips here and there but the truck presents well. There is some rust underneath but the frame and body are solid. Current inspection sticker. This truck is not perfect so keep that in mind when bidding. It is a a great driver but it is not a show truck. The vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty. No Paypal. The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks. GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production [UPDATE]

UPDATE: A previous version of this story indicated that Orion Assembly would be idled for seven weeks, from February 16 through April 6. This was incorrect. The factory will instead only be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6. The story has been edited to reflect this. General Motors has announced that the factory responsible for the Buick Verano and Chevrolet Sonic will be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6, with blame being placed on excess supply. The Orion Assembly plant, about 45 minutes north of GM's Renaissance Center headquarters, employs about 1,800 people, but they'll be given a pair of furloughs as inventories of the sub-compact Sonic and premium compact Verano reach 127 days and 84 days, respectively. That works out to 26,600 Chevys and 9,800 Buicks waiting for buyers. According to Automotive News, the compact Chevy sales bested the industry average in 2014, jumping up nine percent versus the the overall segment's eight-percent gain, while the Buick sedan's sales were down four percent. When asked about the shutdown, a GM spokesman told AN that it will "build to market demand," while also pointing out that the company did not comment on production plans.
