Up for sale is my 1969 Blazer. This is your opportunity to own one of the greatest classic trucks around. I hate to part with it, but life changes are forcing the sale. This Blazer looks great and turns heads. Most Blazers of this era are either rust buckets needing complete restorations, or are $30,000 show trucks. This Blazer comes in above average as a great looking, fun truck that can either be driven daily or be a fun weekend rig.

I am the third owner of the truck. The second owner had the truck completely rebuilt approximately 18 years ago, and I have owned it for around 8. The second owner invested around $22,000 in repairs, from rebuilding the drivetrain to complete body restoration. The paint still shines, but does have a few chips and scratches. The small block 350 runs strong, the TH350 has a shift kit and shifts great. The NP205 transfer case has been serviced.

Upgrades include front disc brakes, lift kit, custom wheels and tires, flow master exhaust, and custom stereo. Recent mechanical repairs include new fuel pump, fuel tank, thermostat, valve covers and gaskets, Edelbrock Performer intake, plugs and wires, and carb rebuild. There is a slight oil leak that I have not addressed yet, and the heater core is currently bypassed.

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
