For Sale is a Rare 1955 Chevrolet 150 Business Coupe.
THIS CAR IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO NON PAYMENT FROM ANOTHER BUYER!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS CAR FOR PURCHASE, BUT BE SURE TO HAVE FUNDS AVAILABLE BEFORE BIDDING THANK YOU.
This is a true business coupe not a modified one. It still has the original wood platform in the rear. There is no back seat in this car, and there never was. This car was originally purchased by the Bell Telephone Co.
The car was originally white. These cars were completely deleted of all trim, radio, and even the rear windows didn't roll down. This car was painted by the Bell Telephone Co a medium Green/Grey. The Black was painted sometime in the late 1970's. There is no rust on the car that can be found. There is the normal surface rust here and there but no rust thru spots that i am aware of. The glass is nice for a good driver. There are no cracks or chips and very little delamination around the edges. There is no front carpet. It was removed because it was in bad shape. The trunk mat and platform mat are both missing. The front seat and the door panels are in great condition. Great foam in the seat. The back does not sag either. Still has the original trunk insulation on the trunk lid.
The chrome on the car is pitted but very very restorable. The rust on the rear bumper is just surface rust. The condition of the bumpers are great.
The car has been cleaned from top to bottom. There is very little grease and grime on the undercarriage. Everything has been meticulously cleaned and checked. But nothing was painted, so nothing is hidden. The paint is not perfect and should not be expected that it is. There is very little shine on it. The paint is very oxidized, however looks great with great PATINA! Some paint is peeling off on roof and other small areas. Only the black is peeling off down to the Greenish/grey paint.
The engine is original and just went thru a major tune up. New fuel pump, carb, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, rebuild original generator, new water pump, new fuel sending unit, cleaned and sealed fuel tank, cleaned and checked radiator. Exhaust seams to be mostly original, except new donut at manifold. Car does have a slight engine oil leak coming from the front timing cover area. Engine, Trans, and Differential all serviced.
This car Runs & Drives Beautifully. All four drum brakes are new. New shoes, wheel cylinders, springs, and turned drums. New shocks too.
There is only one spot on the car that I can find that has any Bondo. It is a softball size dent that was covered in the right rear quarter panel. The front right fender has some paint checking, but does not seem to have any filler work in it. This car also has brand new Michelin Tires on all four corners along with original poverty hub caps.
Again this car is a running and driving car. It has been lowered alittle back in the day. But has a great stance and is a great driver. You won't find a nicer car to start a restoration, or just to have a fun driver as is. Car is not currently registered, But I do have a Title. Also have original air cleaner that will go with the car too.
Vehicle is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early.
You can see this car to inspect it by responding thru Ebay or calling 909.894.9451. Any other questions or pictures please call too. This is a one of a kind find Dont Miss Out! Thanks Brian

The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
Final C6 Corvette built in Bowling Green
Fri, 01 Mar 2013With all of the attention given to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lately, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's already well along in production, yet tooling up for the new C7 has only just begun. In fact, production of the outgoing C6 generation in Bowling Green, Kentucky just halted on Thursday.
As the C6 has aged, production numbers have predictably ebbed along with demand, but this year, the addition of the 427 and 60th anniversary models resulted in an uptick in vehicles built - this, despite a model year shortened by around 25 percent to accomodate the new model changeover. The final C6 Corvette ever, No. 13,466 built this year, was a white 427 Convertible destined for the General Motors Heritage Center museum. The car's 7.0-liter V8 heart was assembled by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter himself.
In total, Bowling Green pushed out 215,100 C6 Corvettes over nine years. If you're still a C6 fan at heart and are hoping to get a good deal on a phase-out model, step lively - Chevrolet reportedly had about 6,100 unsold units, which Autoweek suggests is good for around five and a half months of supply at the model's current sales rates. Given that demand will likely slacken even further as the C7 draws closer, that should be a big enough stockpile to keep dealers satisfied until 2014 Stingrays begin showing up on their forecourts in December.
Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray
Fri, 25 Oct 2013We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
