1962 Chevy Bel Air Bubbletop, 409, 4 speed car. Car came out of the Texas/Oklahoma area originally, really clean older paint and restoration. I have tons of photos, with a MIL gauge on the paint to show how nice the car really is. I was told it was a body off paint job back in the 80's, paint is by no means perfect but looks really good for it's age. Chassis was cleaned and painted black and new body bushings were installed, interior is pretty perfect, drives great, runs perfect, sounds bad ass! New brakes, brakes hoses and lines, ball joints, tie rod ends.... Originally a 6 cylinder 3 speed car....the 409 and 4 speed are both 1962 date coded, no they did not come with the car and I'm being as host as I can here about it. We tried to keep everything looking as it did back in '62 except for electronic exhaust cut-outs and an alternator. Email if you have any questions. 2014 Chevrolet Cruze TD fires up its new diesel motor
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Ever since General Motors confirmed plans to produce a diesel-powered Cruze back in 2011, we've been eagerly awaiting its arrival. And as part of the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet has pulled back the cover on its oil-burning compact sedan, set to go on sale in the near future with a starting price of $25,695, not including $810 for destination.
The heart and soul of the Cruze TD (that's its official name) is a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel inline four-cylinder engine rated at 148 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated solely to a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine also has an overboost function that will increase torque to 280 lb-ft for up to ten seconds. The full brace of official specs haven't been released, but GM tells us that highway fuel economy will come in at 42 miles per gallon. If that number sounds familiar, it's because the Volkswagen Jetta TDI has the exact same rating. Unlike the Jetta, however, the Cruze TD can run on B20 biodiesel, where as the Volkswagen can only accept B5.
Model-specific changes to this 2014 Cruze TD include an aero kit and unique 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there's a full leather interior, and Chevrolet will provide two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance, not to mention a 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
