This car is a great project car.  It has all the chrome and most of the glass.  The only glass that's broken is the passenger's side window and the rear window on the driver's side (not the rear windshield).  The dash is in good shape.  It has been in storage for the last 30 years (except the last 6 months). It currently has a very nice custom fit cover that is included with the car and is also under a covered porch. It has the "surround sound" with a rear speaker controlled by a separate switch.

I got this car as a gift for my 16th birthday 21 years ago from my grandfather and have never had the time or the money to fix it up. I'm moving and don't have room for it anymore.  There are several features that I do not know about it, but if you have specific questions, I can try to find out the answer by looking at the car.

I can work through shipping details if that is required.  The car is located just outside of Atlanta, GA.

UPDATE: Several people have asked about pics of the trunk, engine and underneath.  The trunk is locked and I don't have the key - I've never opened it. I have had the hood open in the last year, but could not get it opened last night.  If I can get it open, I will post pics. I will take pics of the underneath of the trunk so show the condition there.  The floors are also very solid.  Additionally, there is only 1 dent and it's on the top of the driver side fin.  Most of the damage is on the chrome, not the body.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.

China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division

Wed, Jan 7 2015

An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. And it gets worse, so head over to Daily Kanban to read the rest of the story.
