Let me start by saying that this car was purchased by my uncle from a friend in the early 80's and has been sitting in his barn in dry storage for almost 30 years. I am listing the vehicle on behalf of my Aunt. I do not know the history of the vehicle as it has been lost to time since my Uncle has past. What I do know, this is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2dr hardtop sport coupe. The car was originally Onyx Black with a White roof, it has Silver Vinyl with Black & Silver Pattern Cloth. Has a 283 motor with Fuelie heads and an Offenhauser tri-power / triple duece intake with center carb on motor and front and rear carbs in the trunk. Has a 4-speed manual transmission in it. I am not sure its the right trans, what I am sure of is that this vehicle was originally equipt with a manual transmission from the factory with the shifter on the floor. I have the trim, rear bumper, rear window, and a spare year correct 283 with a powerglide trans to go with the vehicle. Please feel free to ask questions. I will post more pics when requested. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction. This vehicle is in as-is condition. It does roll freely and the buyer is responsible for all transportation costs and arrangements. A $1000.00 deposit via paypal within 24 of the end of the auction is required. The series of videos showing BMW i3 production was strangely popular, as were the shots from inside the VW e-Golf plant. Well, with General Motors pulling the veil off of the 2016 Chevy Volt this week, it's time to take a peek at the production process for that vehicle as well. You're welcome. Up first we've got a clip from CNN Money showing a little bit about how the new Volt's new battery pack and other powertrain components are made. Those of you who are trying to read the lithium tea leaves and see if the new shape reveals that the 2016 Volt will have five seats might want to check it out. Then we've got two clips from GM itself, one showing an animation about the updated Voltec powertrain and another with some B Roll of the old Volt. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
