Here is one of the nicest 1955 Chevy Bel Air 4 Door cars you will ever see. It''s all original with the original 235 Straight 6 Cylinder that runs smooth and it has the 3 speed on the column manuel transmission with OVERDRIVE that WORKS!!. You can run 70 - 75 MPH with the overdrive with no problem. This car has been painted about 12 - 15 years but you would not know it if I had not told you. It has a great shine to it and is not all scratched up or cracking like most. It is a 2 tone Blue and Off White color. It's really looks good. The bumpers are really nice as is all the chrome. This car was always garaged. The interior is just as nice. The seat covers and door panels are original to the car and still look good, not perfect but good. The headliner and carpet have been replaced. It has new Radial tires and new exhaust. It also has new gas tank. This car is really solid with no known rust issues. The trunk looks good as does the floor pans. It even has a new spare and the original jack. Evening the speedo, gas and interior light works as does the emergency brake. Great car!! Don't miss it.

This car is For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It will be sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. PLEASE HEAR THIS AND UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS AN AUCTION. IF YOU MEET RESERVE THEN YOU BOUGHT THE CAR. You are more than welcome to do a Pre Sale, before the auction is over inspection of this car. We welcome and encourage that. After auction is over if your the winner than it's your car. Just had that happen where an ebayer met reserve and came to " look at the car" and said he would let me know. COME ON MAN!! YOU BOUGHT THE CAR AND BIDDED 7 TIMES. Ebay should ban these people from bidding. Anyway this car will be sold with a current Georgia registration as Georgia WILL NOT issue a title on a car this old. Don't worry causeyou can get a title with the paperwork I give you. Message or call me with any questions at 404-512-1295 Thanks for looking. Ken

2014 Chevy Silverado priced from *$24,585, V8 gets better economy than Ford EcoBoost V6

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Chevrolet has thrown down the next hand in the pickup truck poker wars and revealed at least a couple of potential aces - depending on which numbers matter most to you. The 2014 2014 Silverado 1500 with its 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 gets 335 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, is mated to a six-speed automatic, can tow 11,500 pounds with the optional Max Trailer Package and costs the same as the outgoing Silverado, $24,585 (*including $995 destination fee). Chevy says the Silverado also stands atop the fuel economy charts when comparing any competitor with a V8 engine - and some competitors with V6 engines. The two-wheel drive model returns 16 miles per gallon city, 23 mpg highway, 19 mpg combined in two-wheel drive guise and 16 mpg city, 22 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined as a four-wheel drive.
For context around those numbers, the most fuel efficient V8-powered 2013 Ford F-150 pickups lose about two mpg in every metric compared to the Silverado, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost returning 16 city, 18 highway and 22 combined in two-wheel drive. However, that EcoBoost does have 365 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. You can get a Ram 1500 with a 3.6-liter V6 that gets 25 mpg highway, but it has 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The 2013 Ram with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and its 395 hp and 407 lb-ft drops one mpg in every category to the Silverado. Its tow rating is 200 pounds beyond its nearest competitor, the F-150 with the Max Trailer Tow Package.
Elsewhere, the new Silverado gets a quieter cab with a redesigned interior, a new bed with improved load-management possibilities, disc brakes all around, tweaked steering and suspension, along with free standard scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
