Up for auction is a 55 Chevy 210 2dr Sedan Gasser. It is an awesome car, and I hate to sell it but I lost my garage, so I have no where to keep it. It was a frame off resto about 15 years ago. It had new floor pans and new body mounts at that time. At that time it also had an early 60's Econoline Van axle installed, the wheel wells radiused (the right way with a lip) and any rust/rot repaired. The 350 engine and M22 were also rebuilt then. The motor has 9:1 compression and forged pistons. It was then garged and not driven much. In the last 7 years I installed a NEW ford 9" rear with Strange 31 spline axles (Chevy bolt pattern), posi and 3:90 gears (the rear has hummed since built), I installed the 6/71 Weiand Blower, Dart Iron Eagle Platinum 180cc heads, dual 500cfm Edlebrock carbs, Comp Cams 268H cam, 1.6 Roller tip rockers, I had the car painted early 60's Mustang Honey Gold, replaced the gas tank, aluminum radiator, custom made fenderwell headers with removable caps and installed a 3" exhaust with cherry bomb mufflers. . In the last 2 years I re-did the interior. New carpet, New seat covers, new door panels. The seats are 64 Thunderbird buckets. It has an old Lakewood 3pt roll bar in it. Everything works as they should, lights, blinkers, heat, electric wipers, etc.. They car runs GREAT, 180 degrees or less all day long, and drives like a straight axle gasser. It is tuned for the street, 6psi boost. All the gauges are stewart warner Deluxe (water temp, fuel press., oil press., boost, volts). The dash fuel gauge works. The wheels are ET wheels, Gasser front and Fueler rear, with Hurst slicks in the rear and Hurst front runners up front. The body isnt 100% perfect, but it looks great, there is nothing major wrong, just a few scratches here and there.. No Rust, No Rot. The trans can use a freshen up, it whines, but shifts fine as is. The headers can use recoating. Any questions, feel free to email me.
On Apr-28-13 at 09:35:49 PDT, seller added the following information:
I forgot to add, the fuel tank is sumped and all stainless braided fuel line run from back to front, with a carter 18psi street/strip electric pump and a holley regulator. I also wanted to add that even thought the body is not PERFECT (not arrow straight, few dings and scratches..No rust, rot or major imperfections.), it is very very respectible.

GM natural gas-powered vans recalled due to possible leak
Wed, Sep 24 2014General Motors is recalling almost 3,200 of its compressed-natural-gas powered utility vans because of possible leaks. GM and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released a notice last week saying that 3,196 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana CNG vans are on recall, though no accidents have been reported due to the possible issue. The recall is specifically for vans for model years ranging from 2011 to 2014. The recall stems from a potential leak from the compressed natural gas high-pressure regulator, and such a leak could cause a fire or explosion. GM will replace the vehicles' high-pressure regulator in order to fix the problem, will do it free of charge and is instructing owners to contact Chevrolet or GMC customer service to arrange for the parts replacement. Utility vehicle makers like General Motors have pushed for fleet sales of CNG-powered vans and trucks for the past few years and have touted them for their cheaper refueling costs relative to standard gasoline, not to mention the fact that natural gas can be readily sourced from throughout North America (thanks, fracking). According to CNGPrices.com, compressed natural gas sells for about $2.22 a gallon, on average, while the AAA is pegging the average price of gas at $3.34 a gallon. NHTSA has posted information on the recall here. Featured Gallery News Source: NHTSA via Reuters Green Chevrolet GM GMC Natural Gas Vehicles CNG gmc savana
Pony-car sales war: Mustang vs. Camaro vs. Challenger [UPDATE]
Fri, Jul 3 2015Update: An earlier version of this story misstated the 2015 Mustang's weight when compared with previous models. Additionally, we have added comments from Chevrolet in the text. The Ford Mustang has blown past the Chevy Camaro as America's best-selling pony car, and in June, it wasn't even close. The 'Stang outsold the Camaro 11,719 to 8,611 cars. The Camaro remained ahead of the Dodge Challenger, which sold 6,845 units. Even though the Camaro did post an 11.5-percent sales improvement in June, the competition is arguably stronger than at anytime since the 1970s muscle-car era. The Mustang's sales leapt a whopping 53.6 percent, while the Challenger saw a gain of 56 percent. Several factors are weighing down Camaro sales, including its lame duck status. Chevy is launching a new generation of the Camaro this year that's more than 200 pounds lighter, offers a new turbo four-cylinder engine option, and has a nicer interior than the outgoing model. Put simply: wait a few months and you can get a better car. It's also unlikely Chevy will jack up the price much, as it's historically kept the Camaro within reach of everyday enthusiasts. While Chevy fans wait in anticipation for their new sports car, Ford and Dodge have downshifted. The new Mustang, which went on sale last year, is faster and more sophisticated than its predecessor. It also offers a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, which Ford has credited for the Mustang's recent uptick and makes up 36 percent of the car's sales, Ford analyst Erich Merkle said. View 17 Photos June's performance allowed the Mustang to widen its sales gap with the Camaro this year. Through the first five months, Ford sold 68,290 Mustangs, a 54.4-percent increased compared with 2014. Chevy sold 42,593 Camaros, an 8.7-percent decrease. The Challenger – long the No. 3 pony car in sales volume – has seen its sales surge 41 percent this year to 37,011 units. Spokesman Monte Doran said Chevy expected that 2015 would be a "relatively soft year" for the Camaro. "Mustang is taking advantage of years' worth of pent-up demand for an independent rear suspension," he said. "When Camaro introduced an IRS, in 2009, it helped make us the best-selling performance car in America.
Recharge Wrap-up: Volt makes up third of Quebec Chevy dealerships sales, Tesla seeks Aussie talent
Wed, Nov 5 2014A Chevrolet dealership in Quebec has had the Volt make up 35 percent of its sales so far this year. Bourgeois Chevrolet in Rawdon, Quebec received recognition for the feat at the 2014 Electric Vehicle Conference, where it won the award for Leading Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Dealership. To sell that many, Bourgeois Chevrolet had to import used Volts from the US, and keeps about 50 units on the lot in various configurations. The conference also saw Park Avenue Nissan of Brossard, Quebec win the Leading Battery Electric Vehicle Dealership Award, and Loch Lomond Mitsubishi of Saint John, New Brunswick receive the award for Electric Vehicle Dealership Inspiration. Ford, General Motors and Toyota have announced that they will shut down their Australian factories, leaving behind a lot of unused talent. Tesla recently held a "Recruiting Open House" in Melbourne for engineers to fill positions at its plant in Fremont, CA, where they will be paired with other Aussie engineers already on staff. Valeo recently showed an electric turbo it plans to supply to an unnamed automaker at a fuel economy showcase event at the EPA's National Vehicle Emissions and Fuel Lab. Electric turbochargers have the advantage of greatly reduced lag when compared to exhaust-driven turbos. They also work well when paired with cylinder deactivation, providing a much-needed boost when driving on a grade, which can help reduce the need for cylinders to reactivate. Independence from the exhaust system also makes it easier to package the turbocharger wherever there is room. Read more from Navigant Research.
