GOT PAINT? Purchased from the same family owner for 44 yrs is this 1955 chevy 2 Dr.HT. It has been stored in its barn for over 27 yrs. It"s owner had passed away and that is the only reason the car is being offered. It is a 265 ci. Powerglide transmission. Two barrel. I have not yet tried to start the car. I will leave that up to someone who has more time than I to do it correctly. Where the Turquoise and white paint has peeled the metal is in surprisingly good cond. The body of the car is virtually rust free and very very straight.On passenger door there is a small place where it is skimmed with bondo but a fridge maget still sticks to it. I would say the bumpers need to be re done if the car gets new paint.. The underneath is also very solid with one rust hole on the inner rocker on the passenger side. It is only like a quarter size hole that is very hard to see..Rest of the Inner and outer rockers, floors, outriggers, trunk, and tail pan area are solid as well. The rear shock towers have had a repair at some point, I guess this was a common problem. Interior and headliner are in good condition. The chrome bows are there and in good shape. The passenger door panel is not on the door but it is included in the sale. All of the stainless mouldings look to be very good, including the tinted glass. With new paint it would be awsome. The tires are close to new. The reserve is very low as I am out of room. The car has a clear Kansas title. Pay pal 500.00 depossit within 48 hrs. of auction end. Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold

Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates

Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood.
