First, let me note that any light-colored specks that you see in the photos are snow flurries falling down as we took the photos. It's hard to find a day around here when there isn't some white stuff falling. For sale is a classic family cruiser, a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air. This will be a great car for taking your family to cruise night. The paint was applied a few years ago and is still very, very nice. The seats have been recovered in original material. The headliner has been replaced. New carpet has been added as well as a new rear package tray. The windlace and weather stripping around the doors and trunk also appears new. The dash board was not repainted when the car was. I don't know why the previous owner skipped that step and the dash paint has some crazing in it. The door panels have not been replaced but are serviceable and new ones are available online.

The Chevy has a 350 V8 and 350 automatic. The car runs and drives excellent. The brakes have been redone. The car has manual steering and manual brakes. However, the Chevy doesn't seem to have any effort steering the new wide whitewall radial tires.The stainless and chrome are in good condition, although there is a little pitting in the hood ornament and the horn ring. The bumpers are presentable but could be rechromed or replaced with new ones. Window glass is very nice. The original radio is in the car and is not working, but then there doesn't appear to be any holes in the fenders for an antenna. I don't know why. The heater works great.

I have a clear North Dakota title. The Chevrolet is offered without any warranty or promises. It is sold as is. Buyer must handle shipping of the vehicle. Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.

Opel's version of the Chevy Bolt will confuse people at Paris Motor Show

Two things are now official. First, Opel will reveal the Ampera-e, or the European version of the Chevrolet Bolt, at the Paris Motor Show in October. Second, General Motors has outdone itself in brand confusion, topping the Bolt/Volt ridiculousness. Opel isn't giving a single-charge range for the Ampera-e but the company is promising a "significantly longer range" than other electric vehicles. The Bolt is estimated to have a 200-mile range on the EPA scale, so whatever the Opel achieves on the European cycle will be done with the same batteries and motor as the Chevy. Opel is also looking to appeal to the auto enthusiasts with other factoids, which are basically just Bolt stats translated into metric. For instance, the Ampera-e will be able to go 0 to 50 kilometers per hour (which is 31 miles per hour to us Americans, but we're talking Europe here) in just 3.2 seconds. And for those looking to stay connected, as many as seven mobile devices can attached to the car's wireless hot spot. GM said in February that the European of the Bolt would be available across the pond next year, so the most recent bit of news isn't shocking. Still, General Motors continues to create confusion between all-electric Bolt and the extended-range plug-in Volt. It's already been reported that the Korean symbol and pronunciation of what is "B" in English is identical to the English "V," meaning that there is no difference between "Bolt" and "Volt" in that country (though there are no plans to sell the Bolt in South Korea as of yet). Now, in Europe, they're taking the name they used to use for the European of the Volt — Ampera Â— and merely adding an "-e" at the end of it.
