1951 chevy 2 door Hardtop
Super clean and rare little 2 door hardtop! This car screams 50's style elegance! Fat white walls and fender skirts and sun visor!
The car spent the last 20 plus years on blocks in a climate control garage, the car was restored in the 80's, the engine and tranny were completely rebuilt, the interior was also redone, along with tons of chrome work. This is the powerglide automatic car, so it has the 235 not the 216
Since seeing the daylight again the car the car has been gone through the normal matinance from sitting including, new mastercylinder, rebuilt wheel cylinders, new waterpump, rebuilt carb, rear main seal replaced, oil and fluids changed, cleaned and undercoated the under carriage
The paint is a decent paint job, it shines good, but does have some flaws which we tried to take good pics of any trouble areas, but all in all for an old survivor this car is super nice and clean! My wife and I took her out for a ride today and enjoyed some sunshine (she drove!) she runs and drives great drives smooth and purrs down the road!
The two tone red and white interior is in nice shape! it has a few flaws but again it shows real nice and we took pics of the flaws. all the glass is in great shape, and the white walls are in great shape and look new!
The car is a great car the way it is, but needs a few things here and there it has a power antena that is broke, missing dome light cover, some of the chrome is pitted under the hood, and front bumper ends are peeling a bit, heater is not hooked up but chromed out! tons of parts are chromed on this car that were never painted when they left the factory! again this car is a great driver and looks great! drives great! This car would make a great entry level car or great car for the avid collector! you don't see hardtops everyday! feel free to ask any questions Thanks Will
This car is for sale locally reserve the right to end auction at anytime
We wil sell the car WORLDWIDE! as long as funds clear FIRST!

Ford Police Interceptors dominate Michigan State Police testing
Tue, Nov 1 2016Once again, Ford Motor Company builds the fastest police vehicles. The Blue Oval touted the news in an official release following Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department testing. Ford did very well. Except for one acceleration metric – zero to 10 miles per hour – the Blue Oval's Taurus and Explorer-based cop cars were the quickest, with particular praise coming for the EcoBoost-powered models, which bested Chevrolet and Dodge's V8-powered variants. Dearborn's products also posted the fastest average times around MSP's vehicle dynamics course. But it wasn't all positive for Ford. The only four-cylinder in the contest, the 2.0-liter, EcoBoost Ford SSP Sedan, had both the lowest top speed, 120 mph, and the slowest acceleration figures. It was also the slowest in track testing. Ford's products also failed to match the braking and top speeds of its rivals from Detroit and Auburn Hills – the rear-drive Charger Pursuit posted the best braking stats of the entire test, while the V8-powered Chevrolet Caprice hit the highest top speed, at 155 mph. Ford did score a top speed award, among SUVs, but at 132 mph, the naturally aspirated Police Interceptor Utility had to share its award with the equally fast, rear-drive Chevrolet Tahoe. The LA County Sheriff's timing isn't publicly available, but according to Ford, the EcoBoost-powered police cars put on a similarly impressive show for cops on the West Coast. We've assembled a spreadsheet on Google Docs that offers an easy to browse comparison of the different stats assembled by the Michigan State Police, and divided the vehicles between standard V6-powered sedans, high-performance sedans (EcoBoost and V8 models), and SUVs. You can check it out here. Related Video:
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head
Mon, Dec 29 2014Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
