Ultra clean inside and out. This is a FULLY LOADED 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ....You could not order anything else for this vehicle....It has it all. I have all the OEQM parts including the hood, factory NAV, audio system, lighting, etc.
The factory 3 piece tonneau cover seals up clean and looks perfect. This vehicle has the POWER STEP BOARDS and they are SWEEEEET!

I immediately started to transform the vehicle: I purchased all of the Cadillac Escalade cladding and had it painted to match and installed. I ordered the BUSHWACKER POCKET FLARES with stainless steel bolts and had these painted and installed. I also purchased the Cadillac Escalade 3rd brake light and rear brake light housings and installed these as well.

A custom FUNCTIONAL RAM AIR hood was fitted (GOOD HOOD), painted and installed...along with a custom grille shell, which I had painted in MATTE FINISH. I added the DIABLO tuner, BANKS POWER RAM AIR INTAKE, and the CORSA PERFORMANCE EXHAUST with MATTE BLACK powder-coated TIPS....This thing is super fast.

A RANCHO FULL LIFT KIT was ordered and installed....This is the correct AUTORIDE setup and the OEM GM AUTORIDE functions perfectly, no lights, no issues.....She drives just like stock, just QUITE A BIT TALLER. I then added a set of
20 X 12 FUEL MAVERICK'S with Nitto TERRA GRAPPLER'S size 285-55-20.

A RIGID LED light bar with N-FAB brackets were installed on the roof, with a lighted hidden switch inside the cab.....All bulbs exterior and interior have been changed to CREE HI OUTPUT LED
(the cabin lights up like DAYTIME at night) The hi-beam & low beam lights are converted to 6000 Kelvin HID with SLIM LINE High End, Japanese HID kits. The driving lights are CREE LED'S.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
