Up for auction is my 2002 Chevy Avalanche, it has the 5.3 litre V8, the Z71 package and the North Face Edition package. It does have an "R" branded title because it was hit in the rear bumber. I replaced the complete rear bumper assy. There was NO body damage. There is NO bondo on this truck. I painted the lower half of the truck to break up the factory green. The paint is bright white with a custom green pearl over it. It looks white untill the sun hits it ,then it has a cool green tint to it. The graphics are also painted. Custom airbrushed diamond plate look, with white pearl ghost skulls all around the truck. They are very hard to see untill light hits them and they kind of pop out. ( I circled them in red in one of the pictures). I added a set of brand new Incubus chrome wheels and Firestone 33" tires. I replaced the factory torsion bars with a set of 2500 HD bars to level the truck out.It has every option except sunroof and heated seats.
The truck runs and looks fantastic. I drive this truck daily, it needs nothing.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face.
