2013 Chevrolet Volt Base Hatchback 4-door 1.4l on 2040-cars
Irvine, California, United States
2013 FULLY LOADED Premium Chevy Volt. (CLEAN TITLE) I originally paid $48,000 MSRP for this before the price was lowered. Comes with DMV Carpool Sticers Options
Include Navigation, Leather, Backup Camera, Park Assist, and both Safety
Packages. This car has all the Chevy Volt Options available. In adittion this is a ONE OF A KIND as I spent $1600 on a custom paint trim that makes the car look much more desirable. The original black plastic trim looked very cheap, this makes it look so much better. I am sure you will agree. I also paid $300 on tinting the windows, this helps keep it cool for me in the cabin and cuts out the UV. I am in outside sales and this car has been perfect for driving long distances daily and saving so much time in the carpool lane. My reason for selling is only due to re-location, I am loosing alot of money on this sale reluctantly but have no choice. It has been kept in a garage and cleaned weekly, as you will see it is almost like new. I have been a member of e.bay selling for over 10 years and have 100% feedback rating. Please contact me with any questions.
OPTION PACKAGES PREMIUM TRIM PACKAGE includes KA1 heated driver and front passenger seats and DA1 rear seat armrest, AUDIO SYSTEM FEATURE, BOSE PREMIUM SPEAKER SYSTEM WITH 7 SPEAKERS INCLUDING SUB-WOOFER, ENERGY EFFICIENT SERIES SOUND SYSTEM, LPO, ALL-WEATHER CARGO MAT, LOW EMISSIONS PACKAGE (ENHANCED AT-PZEV EMISSIONS), REAR VIEW VISION CAMERA, WITH PARK ASSIST, FORWARD COLLISION ALERT, LANE DEPARTURE WARNING. ALSO INCLUDES PREMIUM NAVIGATION, TINTED WINDOWS. (If you do not like the tint I can have it professional removed at no charge) Non-Smoker vehicle. It doesn't get better and you will not see this model with this trim; "The 2013 Chevy Volt has the best all-electric range of any plug-in hybrid, while its gasoline engine offers peace of mind that true electric vehicles can't match. . Great Gas Mileage: 40 MPG Hwy. GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

Chevrolet donates 300 vehicles damaged by Sandy to help train first responders
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Super Storm Sandy took out a lot of automobiles in its path of destruction through the Northeast last October. The number surpassed 250,000 at last count, and a few of those were owned by Chevrolet - cars either sitting on dealership lots or waiting at port to be shipped off. Rendered unsellable by the water damage inflicted by Sandy, these vehicles were facing the crusher. But Chevy didn't send them there.
Instead, Chevy had a better idea: It will be donating 300 of these vehicles damaged by Sandy to help train first responders at Guardian Centers in Perry, GA. Chevy is the official automotive partner of Guardian Centers, which is an 830-acre facility that trains first responders in disaster preparedness. Junked cars are practically a consumable commodity there, where a full-size cityscape simulator gives trainees an entire urban center in which to train for all sorts of rescue operations and disaster scenarios.
Chevy says its particular vehicles will be used "in conjunction with role players for wide area searches, traffic congestion in emergency situations, counter terrorism, public order and mass casualty exercises." While grim scenarios all, we're certainly glad there are people out there preparing for the unexpected. While a zombie apocalypse isn't officially on the list of potential disasters to prepare for, when the virus hits, we'll be hot-footing it to Perry, GA to hang with these guys and gals.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
