    2008 Chevrolet Uplander LT. My wife just picked up a GMC Acadia and says she is done with the Minivan/Soccer mom role.It has a good size dent in the rear lift gate. I did get an appraisal on getting it fixed for $600. It is about the same price to grab a used door from a junkyard. My wife came out of a store and it looked like someone backed into the van, no note or anything. There is also two small dents in the front of the hood, they were there when we purchased it. Also, sometimes and not all the time, the engine light comes on with the ABS light and traction control when you first start it up. Other times it starts up and the dash board lights are clear? I don't understand that but anyway, She has been driving it everyday with out any problems. The interior is in decent shape, there are some stains on the seats that can be shampooed out, you can see them in the pics. I was going to have all these issues addressed before listing so I could maximize profit. I decided to list it a lot lower and maybe save myself some time and taking much less. The transmission has been rebuilt last October 2013 (with 107,000 miles) and has a 3yr/50,000 mile Warranty, 100% Parts & Labor. Also has brand new Front tires and decent rear tires.  As with any vehicle listed online It is best to come see it for yourself if possible. This van has been good to our family of four. We purchased it off a family in Bolton Massachusetts back in October 2011. It has been kept inside the garage when it is home. The automatic sliding doors sometimes have trouble closing on their own, I took out the fuse and use them manually like back in the old days :-) , I am sure it can be fixed as well. Here's why automakers roll out those Texas-themed pickup trucks

Every year, automakers with a full-size truck link make a big show of the Texas State Fair, usually involving a reveal of a new model. Sometimes they show a whole new truck, and other times a special edition centered on the Lone Star state. While some people might write this off as a quirk of the industry, others might be wondering, "What's the big deal with Texas?" As it turns out, part of the big deal with Texas is big truck sales. According to Dave Sullivan, product analysis manager at AutoPacific, Texas buys more trucks than any other state in the country. It's not a small margin either. Edmunds.com, one in five trucks sold in the US are sold in Texas. The state also accounts for 15 percent of the country's large truck sales, which is more than twice that of California, the second largest truck market in America. Even when you break down sales only in Texas, trucks are a huge piece of the pie - Sullivan says that a quarter of new vehicle sales in Texas are trucks. One in five trucks sold in the US are sold in Texas. But it's not just sales that make truck builders give attention to Texas. As Sullivan explained, "Pickups are life in Texas." Both he and Hugh Milne, marketing and advertising manager for the Chevy Silverado line, said that trucks are key fixtures in Texas society, as both work trucks and luxury vehicles (or Texas Cadillacs as Milne called them). Milne said Texas is so important in the truck market that if you want to be successful in the rest of the country, "you've got to be successful in Texas." As for the State Fair, it has become a prime location for reveals in part because of the importance of the Texas market and because of how big the fair is. Milne also revealed that the State Fair also hosts its own auto show, so it's an ideal venue for a vehicle introduction. So there you have it. Why do truck builders obsess over Texas? It's because Texas obsesses over trucks. When you have one market that loves your product that much, you give it the attention it deserves. Nissan Leaf sales double Chevy Volt to close out winning 2014

To close out the year, sales of the two most-popular plug-in vehicles in the US kept going in the direction that they had been all year. The Chevy Volt dropped and the Nissan Leaf had another record month. Sound familiar? The Volt sold 1,490 units in December, a year-to-year drop of 37.7 percent. For all of 2014, Volt sales were down 18.6 percent to just 18,805 (from 23,094 in 2013). On the Nissan side of the ledger, the Leaf sold 3,102 units, up 22.7 percent from the 2,529 sold in December 2013. For the year, Nissan sold 30,200 Leafs, up 33.6 percent from the 22,610 sold in 2013. A few other things to note: For every month in 2014, the Leaf sold more than it did for the same month in 2013. For the Volt, this was only true for three months (April, May and July). Funnily enough, the Volt sold exactly 1,478 units in both March 2013 and 2014. The Volt's 2014 total was lower than both 2013 and 2012, while the Leaf had its best year ever. There were three months in 2014 when people bought at least twice as many Leafs than bought a Volt (September, November, December). The Leaf outsold the Volt every month in 2014. The closest gap was 215 units, in February. The biggest was 1,612, in December. As you've most likely seen, GM is still busy teasing the new Volt, which will make its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week.
