I am posting my 2007 Trailblazer SS for sale, due to an impending job relocation. I purchased this TBSS new in 2007 and drove it regularly for 1.5 years. Then, in 2009 I decided to preserve it as a "collector" vehicle and it has been kept in a temperature controlled facility ever since. I have occasionally driven it over the past 3 years and it currently has a grand total of 20,072 miles on the odometer. The truck is stored under a California Covers Noah car cover with a battery tender and is always in ready-to-drive condition. I have always kept the license plates and insurance up-to-date. It is in overall excellent condition. There is a tiny area of cracked paint on the passenger side rear bumper where I backed it into a post as I was repositioning it in my garage. The impact occurred at less than 5mph. It has had no other body damage or mechanical failures. It has never been painted, and there have never been door dings to fix. It is all original except for the following items: Corvette badge on tailgate, GM chrome side steps, and a GM bug guard (not in pics, but included with the truck). It is most certainly one of the nicest TBSS's around! No engine modifications have ever been performed and I have always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil with a Mobil 1 oil filter.
The TBSS is optioned as a 3SS but does not have navigation or rear seat entertainment. It does include the Bose stereo system with XM satellite radio. It also has available on-star.

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
